My girlfriend is on amitriptyline to help her sleep through her undiagnosed debilitating chronic pain.
She took it for 3 days and almost off’d herself bc of the medicine. Her mom caught her before she OD’d. She isn’t like that and when she came to her senses she through the bottle away.
Did she need to taper off? It’s only been 3 half doses. Pls help thank you. Pharmacists did not inform her before hand and assured her “no side effects”. Ridiculous
