What is a great AI that is not too far from the airport, not too massive, and is great in accommodating for babies? We are looking at Club Med and Fiesta Americana Condesa, but I worried that they are too big and will have very long walks from the room to activities.

We used to stay at grand residences puerto Morelos when my son was little. We would upgrade to the beachfront rooms. They would pick us up with a car seat in private SUV and would do the check in process in the car. The trip was usually about 30 min. When we got there if your room wasn’t ready, they had another room prepared so our son could nap while we waited for our room. They would also let us have dinner in our suite from any of the restaurants. We got the master suite which came with a large kitchen which is nice for warming up some milk or making a bit of baby food. AI is optional but we always got it for simplicity. The balcony was great and we had a great view when my son would nap. The resort was small, no golf cart needed to get around. I liked that we were a bit further away from Cancun hotel zone but not too far away.
