So disappointing how little merchandise there is of Yona and how hard it is to get. I don't understand why, as far as I know the series is very popular in Japan.
I keep getting the "shojos don't get good anime adaptations because shojo fans don't buy merchandise" from shonen bros, but like.... what merchandise am I suppose to buy if they don't give us any?!
Yeah, it's very frustrating. IIRC when the anime was new there were mugs and phone cases and other things, but even then it's similar to what we get now -- they make some basic art (because they have old artsheet turnarounds) and then slap it onto pens, keychains, coasters, etc. even the oddball tape dispenser. It's just somewhat generic. There are the acrylic standees sure, but meanwhile it feels like every other generic isekai crapfest or whatnot still gets some figurines or nenderoids or statues or something.
