Something similar happened to me. I was travelling with my parents. So we are on a day flight and the guy sitting in front of my father just leaned back his seat. Now my father can’t leave it back obviously because it was day time and crew was starting to give food. I requested the guy but the guy start arguing. Didn’t spent more than few seconds and asked the crew to handle it. And the guy had to straighten the seat. The problem is tgere are always some people who believe that they own the seat on which they are sitting and they seem totally indifferent to what problems they are causing to others around it.
I’m sorry but we Indians and most of us are totally illiterate in civic sense and responsibilities towards society. Total manner less bunch.
Even in foreign countries, Indians have gained reputation of being nuisance at tourist spots with there unbearable behaviour. Many instances of that i had to see and feel shamed as i travel a lot both internationally and within India.
Had a bad instance with fellow Indian traveller in Singapore. Me and my friends were standing in normal ticket line for a ride in Universal. And somehow our line was moving much faster then the express line ticket. So a guy from indian family who was with his teenage son and wife, came and stood in front of us. We asked him to move he didn't listen at all like at all. So a white guy from our line about to take the ride asked him to f**k off and leave with his line. And then only he left. Such stubborn people. Only the Indian people that too family ones were violating the rules.
As per the law cabin crew cannot ask anyone to straighten up the seat.
Recently was involved in this situation the crew told me sorry we can’t do anything about it. You can lean back as well but we can’t ask the person to straighten up
There may be an airline policy but I'm not sure if the Airline Seats Reclining (Regulation and protection) Act has been passed yet so the law doesn't say anything about it.
Yep totally agree. Indians have earned a bad rep due to misbehaviour, utterly uncivilised, being mannerless, and failure of minding themselves in public arenas. I feel very ashamed of my fellow Indians when I see this.
Good morals, manners, true respect, and duty to your fellow man start in the home. And it is a sad reflection of the lack of good parenting and educated mindsets.
Reminds me of an incident when I was travelling in Indigo, the person sitting in front of me had max reclined their seat while the food was being served. The person pretended not to hear when I asked him to straighten.
I couldn’t eat and I politely asked one of the crew members if they could request the person to straighten the seat and the crew member said “🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️”
i face this exact bullshit, my classmates keep doing this crap with their hair on my desk , the class is too cramped to move. sometimes I feel like the choti katne Wale baba ko bula du
I would politely say to her " Madam your hair looks good on you, but it looks equally bad on my TV. So if you don't mind, could you keep your hair with you and not spread it over my TV"
I would call the airhostess and complain. If that does not fix the issue I will start spitting on her hair. Maybe stick a bubble gum. Also get a drink from the air hostess and accidentally pour it on her hair. Then when the food comes (my Indian food will have curry for sure) so I will also pour the curry on her hair of course accidentally.
I am sure somewhere between all this the issue would have resolved.
Smell the top of their head, tell them that their pheromones are calling out to you, and invite them to the bathroom (this works safe on the same sex only though, and definitely in a hypothetical situation only)
Once traveling by a bus, hair of a lady sitting next to me were flying into my face and she was sleeping!! Tapped her shoulder, whispered into her ear "you have beautiful hair, and quite long too.. Reaching my face easily". She turned red and tied her hair!
Start with asking them politely to mind their hair. If that doesn’t work, try escalating it to the airline crew.
