Idk, have you ever seen Gross Pointe Blank? It's a good rom-com about a Hitman going to his high school reunion. Pretty good fights with action that wasn't over the top.
Speaking of which, can we “X-Men ‘97” BTAS? I mean, all the fans of that show (and the shows it spawned) are now adults so…they could get more adult thematically, use real gun designs instead of tommy guns and lasers, etc.
Two things, in my opinion, need to be in that hypothetical continuation:
1) Elisa and Goliath are depicted being a proper couple.
2) Lex is finally allowed to be openly gay.
Those are the two things Greg Weisman was wanting to include in the series, but couldn't. Goliath/Elisa was a bit more OK since they are a straight couple.
Same. I wasn't online back when it was airing (AOL and dial-up, baby), nor did I know anything about the OG Transformers, so when I found out about "TRUKK NOT MUNKY" many years later, I was quite affronted. This show was seriously great. Show me something in OG Transformers as great as "Code of Hero." You can't.
Batman. Not even close. Widely regarded as best animated series of all time. With good reason. I will say courage has given my siblings and me a ton Of inside jokes. Honorable mention.
I'm going gargoyles because they were one of the first to do long running storylines. Yea x-men did a little, but they had SOOOO much filler. It's honestly difficult to get through the original series at this point.
Close second, and the exact opposite, courage. What an incredibly before its time show.
I gotta go with Courage. That show did more for me, he's a cool dog in my eyes, and Muriel is the grandma I wished I had (sans the vinegar in everything lol)
Courage the cowardly dog hands down, solidified my love for horror back when I was a kid. Everytime I saw the Batman opening I would run around the house with a towel as a cape and miss the whole episodes.
I gotta save B:TAS. No real question.
