Plus doing something that lands you in prison is dumb.

if you rob a bank, you wouldn't have to worry about food or rent for the next few years, no matter the outcome.
But you do if the bank robs you. Tax payer funded bailout, anyone?
Well there's a difference... If you go to prison, the food provided can and usually is unfit for human consumption. Like barely good enough.
I haven't done all the research, but I think prisons are aware of the food requirements and do as bare minimum as possible.
