So I let my 3d printer doing some work overnight and I woke up to this. Any ideas on how to remove the PLA without damaging the extruder? The main issue is that this blob is stuck in the cables...
Thank you, kind spirit!
The cables are the only issue. Luckily replacement heaters and thermistors are cheap. Like... 2-4$ cheap.
Heat the hotend up to about 150C and carefully peel the plastic off as it starts to soften.
Yeah so.. I think it already damaged the cables.. It's not heating up. Temperature shows -14 degrees on the screen and don't change.
Any good site for buying the replacements? I think I might need that.
Should be able to get the PLA off with a heat gun. Amazon carries the “official” 🤢creality replacements. Just make sure the get the ones for the sprite
And order a couple extra to keep on hand.
Check your tip to ensure it is tight. I had exactly the same thing happen to me.
Thanks for the tip! (pun intended)
