What holy grail products do you swear were just awful for you and what didn’t you like about them?
US Sunscreens. It's astonishing how US sunscreens, stagnant since 1999 🤯 they continue to pose risks to our health with ingredients like oxybenzone and octinoxate (notice how every year we get recalls or some bad news about it)
In stark contrast, Korean sunscreens have revolutionized sun care with their innovative formulas. Adding skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, they not only shield us from harmful rays but also nurture our skin with hydration and additional skincare benefits. Plus, their lightweight textures and non-greasy finishes make them a joy to wear daily. Switching to Korean sunscreens two years ago was a revelation—I only wish I'd made the switch sooner, considering the outdated and potentially harmful state of US sunscreens.

Are mineral sunscreens (specifically those with zinc) considered safe?
The only way to go. Also a zinc sunscreen with Shea butter and raspberry seed oil- they have natural spf in it
Any recs for a cosmetically elegant formula that is light on oils? My pores clog easily, and I dislike Japanese sun screen milks because I find the alcohol too drying.
