I got a blue flip 3 days ago and I love it

So my flip 4 which is more than a year old has a bubble on the screen protector which happens to be where the crease is, I've searched to see if I can wait a little longer or wait but found mixed opinions on the topic,but the real question is can I wait a little longer to replace it or just replace the screen protector

I have a z flip 4 with Verizon firmware, bought it off Amazon. I want to flash unlocked firmware since the phone is unlocked and l'm not sure I'm doing it right. Frija doesn't work, plugging in the device just pops up a message, and idk where else to download but downloaded at samfw. Put all the files in Odin, I selected the DSA version firmware since that's usa guess. Everything is successful on Odin's side but on my phone it keeps going to the Samsung logo until it says something about recovery, the options are try again and factory reset. Trying again just loops it until it goes back to the recovery page and factory reset does just that factory resets it but still having the Verizon firmware. Help????? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong I've only ever flashed and rooted pixel phones so I'm pretty confused since each Samsung phone seems to have a different approach to this. just want the unlocked firmware since the Verizon firmware has weird buggy limitations that make the phone feel janky and want the updates directly from Samsung rather than Verizon

I think I'm not flashing it correctly??? I mean in Odin I'm putting in the DSA firmware files but I'm not sure if thats correct since I people reference "cross flashing" and I'm very new to this I'm sorry if I sound so stupid but a step by step guide would really help me a lot! I don't understand what I'm doing wrong please ask and ill answer :3 id really appreciate feedback and help

My phone is constantly deciding to do upgrades that make no difference as far as i can see. Even when I reschedule the update, it happens a minute later anyway. Really frustrating to have my phone be unusable for as long as it takes so frequently. It happened 4 times in one week. and probably 10 times in the past year_ Why??

Guys. I got a z flip 4. It works only if it is in charger, bc when i remove it he dies and the battery does not go up. I found a z flip 4 with a broken screen in a repair store. Can i buy this flip and replace my battery for his? Or even just replace his screen with mine?

So I accidentally found a way to have your phone closed and have standard youtube continue to play your videos. This is pretty useful with music playlists. Open up your preffered video or playlist, and minimize it to a pop out. Go into settings>display>screen mode and switch from standard to vivid or vice versa This should automatically pause your video and basically start this little glitch. Unpause the video and let it play, then close your phone and it should continue to play like normal. If you switch videos with the phone open, it wil return to normal. However, if you have the phone closed with the video playing and use earbuds or a smart watch to skip to the next video on a playlist it will continue to play with the phone closed. Your milage may vary but so far it's proven to be useful.

When I fold my phone right as it gets to about 45 degrees the screen starts flickering on and off, sometimes it stays off but the phone acts like it's on, I can enter apps and play media while the screen is black. Is there any fix? Is this a software issue? I haven't dropped it in moths and it hasn't gotten wet

Mine broke at the hinge ( and subsequent screen damage) a while ago and at the time it was like $400 to repair. I just pulled my Sim and dropped it in a different phone.

I'm interested in just pulling off some pictures and maybe giving it to a family member with a serious case to protect the hinge.

So the phone started an annoying trait where the screen turns off when viewing telegram videos on the app and upon answering calls on FB Messenger. Note that an ear nor a face is nowhere near the screen. Picture it like the phone is placed on a desk and a call pops up in Facebook Messenger and upon answering the screen shuts off. Any ideas?

The phone came with google photos installed and everything is immediately sent there instead of gallery. I’m trying to set the cover screen to something and gallery says it can’t see any of the photos I have taken or downloaded. I just want a gif on the cover screen clock and this is driving me insane. Is there a way to send something from google photos to gallery? .

Sobasically random one day, I tried unlocking my phone by flipping it first, then the screen wouldn't go on..This happens alot lately when i try to go on my phone, it won't go on even tho the battery isn't 0%... Does anyone know what I should do?

So i got the zflip 2 months ago and the phone is great , fast performance, good brightness , etc.. so far , i have had nothing bad happen , only a few things that i consider very normal.

1. The hinge gets loose: the hinge gets loose after a few weeks but still lock perfect on place , it actually feels better when loose this this is just a bonus in my opinion.

2. The crease gets bigger: the crease does get bigger but gets less deep , so this does not really affect anything.

3. The phone is NOT dustproof!: the phone really stuggles with dust , but it is pretty easy to clean out , just make sure not to leave it in pockets full of dirt or you will be on for a big clean in the hinge area!

4. The screen is pretty strong!: my zflip fell on concrete from 1.5-2m on concrete with the screen facing down. I dont even have a visible scratch! (I have looked hard to find one.)

I really love this phonr and would recommend it , if you take care of it it will last , hope this helped anyone hesitant on buying the phone! :)
