We'd really like to keep our local channels. We live in a rural, mountain area, so OTA channels are NOT available (even with an external 50ft antenna). FuboTV has hit us with a $14.99 "regional sports fee" on top of our $79.99/monthly fee. We'll looking to switch to YouTubeTV. Can anyone tell us what the TOTAL monthly cost will be (all the junk fees and other stuff included)? Also, are there any other streamers that included local channels? We used to have HULU Live TV, but had to get rid of it when we switched to Verizon LTE internet. Thanks for your assistance!
The only addition over base rate may be standard sales taxes in certain locations. Those are not something Google can control and are not junk.
$77.62 in CT
$77.92 with N.C. state tax here.
Taxes? We don’t need no stinking sales taxes!

Eh, you just pay for it somewhere else.
Sure. But as someone who likes VAT taxes in Europe, it’s nice to always pay the listed prices. This applies to purchases online, like Amazon or Nike.com- we don’t pay any sales tax.
Areas where we get dinged are income taxes and property taxes. We have an absurd amount of homeless people in the I-5 valley corridor from Washington to California, where pretty much our entire population lives, because homeless campers don’t encounter much snow, it rarely gets too hot, there’s no humidity, you get 10 cents per can and bottle to buy your fentanyl with, there’s no sales tax, you get $300 a month in SNAP benefits, and Medicaid is free for health, dental, and mental. While I do support free healthcare, the bottle deposit money being used to by hard drugs drives me crazy. Anyway, I guess I went off topic from YTTV.

Why? That's the whole point. Give people a chance at earning income by cleaning up a mess for less cost than employing them directly.
Addicts aren't going to let funding stand in the way of their addictions, you'd just end up with more violence and theft.
It's easier to arrest people for break-ins and violent crimes. It will also lock them up for longer. I certainly do see the homeless camping and drug issue as some form of "war". And I also have zero problems with the war on drugs even if you don't win the battle. The fight is a good battle to wage. I'm more concerned about the litter and blight that canners leave in their wake than the durable cans and bottles. They "steal" most of the cans and bottles from people's recycling bins anyway.
That sounds like an exhausting way to live your life.
The goal would be "out of sight, out of mind". Homeless campers need to be honorable and not drag the rest of society down with them. In functioning cities and states it wouldn't come to this, but along the Pacific West coast this has become paramount.
So put them out of your sight? Don’t go where they are? Don’t live where they’re allowed? Complaining that poor people with mental illnesses are surviving seems… idk but let’s just say it’s not reich.
DirectTV Stream and Hulu Plus Live include most local channels. However YTTV is generally considered a better and more cost effective option (especially in this sub).
Depending on what you need/want to watch on the locals it may be possible to cobble together an alternative; many local news outfits now have apps that provide access to news live and on-demand, and most network prime-time programming is available on one or more of the other streaming apps. As always the hard bit is live sports from the major networks and cable conglomerates. Note that YTTV generally does not offer Regional Sports Networks so if that is your sticking point with Fubo, YTTV may not be an alternative.
Base Plan is $72.99 plus your regional taxes, if any. No surprise fees.
72.99 - no taxes..
Well as the others said, but Fubo is all about sports. So to make it level, consider adding: Sports Plus $10.99/mo (gives you NFL Red zone & soccer) 4k Plus $9.99/mo NFL Sunday ticket $87.25/mo or $349/yr NBA League Pass $14.99/mo WNBA League Pass $7.99/mo
$79.27 ($72.99 + $6.28 tax), Colorado.
I pay $72.99. I get espn, fox sports, cbs sports, all local channels, but do not pay for regional sports. I refuse. I then pay my local internet pay. Hope that helps
Ditto
Here in Texas, it's just the base fee plus sales tax. (Sales tax applies to many kinds of services, and cable TV isn't an exception.) Sales tax is 8.25% here.
Here are the amounts I see:
- On the YouTube TV web site under Settings -> Membership, the base plan is $72.99.
- On the YouTube TV web site under Settings -> Billing, the latest receipt shows $72.99 for base plan, $6.02 for tax, and $79.01 total.
- On my credit card web site, the actual amount charged is $79.01.
And by my math, the $6.02 of tax adds up: 6.02 / 72.99 = 0.082477, which is 8.25% as expected.
No you can’t! This violates YTTVs TOS. They’ve been clamping down on sharing outside family household.
YouTube TV isn't cable.
No fees, just taxes if your locality charges them. Here in Indiana, $72.99 final cost, except during football season when I add the Sport package to get Red Zone.
72.99 in california. love YTTV, local channels and all the others. regional sports pulled out of my area so i pay extra for baseball during season only. I paid twice for cable.
Mine is $72.99 in Virginia. The same price they list as being the subscription.
$72.99 in NJ. No tax.
$82.98 w/ 4K in California
It all depends what you add to the base rate. If you add nothing, the cost is what’s advertised. No hidden fees.
DirecTV Stream is my favorite (streamtv.directv.com), but it is pricier than YTTV.
72.99 where I live no tax Oklahoma 9.99 for 4K addition. 82.98.
I can’t get them to stop billing me and customer service is non existent. Any ideas?
YTTV doesn’t have junk fees. 😀 You pay the price listed for the package you want. Simple! Wish they all did that.
