Delta county recalls 3 MAGA commissioners

In the sea of red that is the UP, I’m glad to see Delta county come to its senses. These three commissioners all got in because of their far right rhetoric. Then they started breaking laws and got too big for their britches.

Then they all got recalled. Glad to see this. It actually gives me some hope.

I confess I don't understand this. I think of a recall election as being a straight up and down on a single person, but these results look more like a regular contested election. Can someone explain?

These three fellas basically overtook the county commission. And they stole some land from the county. Then they tried to do some more shady shit. One was firing the airport administrator for whistleblowing on them. That’s what the recall was officially for.

Then they also tried to have an entire townships zoning laws changed for personal gain.

Long story short they fucked around and found out.

Well done, Delta county. Such good news is extra sweet on a day amongst all the bad news.

Hopefully the three ousted turds are further held responsible by the state if any criminal allegations can be proved. Only Delta county's dumbest and most corrupt would vote to put these three back in.

Yeah I mean they have no shame. I expect they will get pummeled again. I’d also imagine they will spend the next 5 months trying to agitate their replacements. It’s embarrassing.
