U.S. law that could ban TikTok faces new lawsuit from content creators
These jokers think they can just overstep national barriers and so many seem to just go along with it. I sincerely hope it blows up in their faces if they think they can just do whatever they want.
So no one’s mad that users haven’t consented to having their personal data collected by China?
Let’s also be actually real, this isn’t suppression of free speech. Unless theres a plethora of American content producers being censored by the government for expressing themselves, and the U.S government is going to also shut down Twitter, YouTube, Literotica et al.
Everyone parrots this argument but I don't understand it. Why would I care if China has my information? I'm all for protection of privacy, but you're fooling yourself if you think U.S. companies aren't collecting the same or worse.
Shouldn't we be more worried about what our own government can do with our data compared to one that's across the world?

Maybe you should look into Chinas history and current methods of destabilising territories that surround it. Because anyone who’s been following this debacle knows.

Yes you should equally care, I don’t understand Americans and their black and white, or this over that mentality. It’s not a competition. Embarrassing that you’re actually a teacher.
US: "Chinese government is bad for banning a lot of Western services that do not serve their agenda."
Proceeds to do the exact same shit.
This is so disgraceful, this attempt to ban TilTok. THIS is actual sanctioned suppression of free speech by the government! For all the idiots screaming about free speech violations, where are they when it’s legitimately happening?
