Hey just kinda bored and don't have many friends if anyone wants to go out tonight. I am a 30yo male if that matters. I don't matter if you're male or female or anything else. I'm posting this for friendship only.

I recently had a terrible experience with "Fix-A-Dent Auto Body & Detailing", phone number: (661) 421-8126 ; 6614218126 ; 661.421.8126 ; 661-421-8126, slogan: "All Work on Spot We Come to You", and I feel compelled to warn others.

For context, my front bumper had detached a while ago, and I had secured it with zip ties and tape. The paint was also flaking off because of how it came off. Obviously, the situation wasn't ideal, but I drove many miles like that and inspected it daily to make sure it was still secured on. I tried to limit my car usage while saving enough money to replace the front bumper, but I need my car to go to work and errands.

While I was done getting my groceries a man at Visalia grabbed my attention at a red light and said he could fix my front bumper. We pulled into a parking lot and he looked at my car and said he could stabilize and repaint the front bumper for 300 right then and there with his brother(?) at the parking lot because he had his boss's tools with him and mobilizing to fix repairs is what he does.

But their shoddy work led to my bumper falling off while I was driving. Luckily, no one was around me when this happened, but it could have been a dangerous disaster. To make matters worse, after a closer inspection, they completely botched the paint job. There was paint splattered everywhere, including on the front car lights, which I can't remove and now have to replace also.

I feel foolish for trusting their lies, I find myself thinking that the pictures he showed me of prior work he has done was also fake. I gave him a full week to respond to my complaints and about giving me a partial refund, and he has since ignored me completely. I strongly advise against trusting them with your vehicle. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable and competent auto body shop.

There were so many red flags I ignored because of the price. In the end, I know I have no one to blame but myself. I just want others to know that they are a scam, and to trust your instincts. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Hello! I am looking for one or two people to rent a house with in the Visalia or Dinuba area, beginning around middle/late July. I am a 24-year-old queer woman and am ideally looking for people around the same gender and age. I moved to the area about a year ago after graduating from college and don't know many people in Visalia! I have been living on my own but really can't afford that any more!

My budget for rent/utilities split is $800-1,000. I prefer updated, clean living spaces and so am generally willing to pay a bit more when things are nicer. I recently had to move out of the room I was renting due to losing my job. I started staying in my SUV, and guess what? It breaks down, timing chain. Now I'm literally on the streets, couch hopping if I'm lucky. I'm a female, and being in this situation isn't cool. I'm looking to do any kind of job someone may have for me; cleaning, cooking, organizing, etc. DM me!

**Edit- I am working with all of the local programs that help with job seeking and work training, actively seeking employment. The issue I am having is surviving until that job is found. I literally have nowhere to go, and now no vehicle to stay in.

I’m contemplating moving to Visalia for a year-long work opportunity. I was hoping to hear from people who currently live in there on how much they pay for water, gas, sewer, electric, and Internet. I would also appreciate it if people were to include how those costs fluctuate throughout different seasons.

Anyone got a melodic hardcore band that just needs a vocalist or wants to make a melodic hardcore project? Into styles like Counterparts and Boundaries.

Also into just anything heavy. Really into Backbiter, Waste, Falsifier, Knocked loose. I used to be in a band and still love the scene and wanting to get back into it.

Does anyone have recommendations for dog friendly restaurants or patios for lunch or brunch?

I've tried BL quality meats a few times and every single time they would not deliver anything that's thin enough to be chopped up on a griddle. I used to get it from the meat market in Fresno but apparently their slicer broke so they no longer can do it either. I bought some frozen stuff from the chef store but it's not good at all. Its thin but bad quality meat that doesn't taste as great.

I live in Visalia and work in Bakersfield and find myself in Fresno every other week. So if anyone knows where I can get some quality paper thin ribeye between Bakersfield and Fresno please let me know!
