Name a video game that, in your opinion, is so bad it shouldn't exist.
Command and conquer 4 it's so bad that fan base refuses to acknowledge it's existence
Its a game so bad, I completely put down a series that was a big part of my childhood and didn't even know they made any after that. I genuinely thought it was the last one they made it and completely killed the series.
Red Alert 3 & expansion is pretty good. And that is the last AAA RTS they released.
Now new C&C games are just mobile cash grabs. Or remastered version of the old games.
I love RA3 on account of me liking the Empire of The Rising Sun's whole anime motif, I had it on PC before it became too old to run on more modern desktops, I now have it on Xbox, and its the only C&C game I think I have rn, I'll have to look in my library. I heard they made them mobile games and EA I think still has the IP, so not surprised at all to hear new ones are cash grabs. I heard they want to make a mobile version set in the Generals series and that really hurt (can't confirm if thats true). My dad and I used to get the two old towers connected to each other and do multiplayer in the days before Wifi (or at least before he had Wifi), is why i hate whats happened to the series.
EA, ruining your childhood every single day lol
I stopped giving them my money long time ago, except when they occasionally make some good single player games(like Dead Space Remake). Never touched their multiplayer shits.
Last thing I can honestly say liked from them was when they re-released Hot Pursuit a few years ago. If you need proof beyond just "yeah, its a re-release" from some dude on YouTube, it has the heavy, lazy steering issue from when it originally launched in 2011. All they did was remove the SLR and changed the races it was in to a different car. They canceled a "remaster" awhile ago, and it was most likely an updated Most Wanted, since there were so many little drops and pr planted "rumors" for it.
I liked RA3 because SPAAAAACE!
Same actually. I had played the whole series up till then, especially original, red alert, and red alert 2.
Wasn't the original also on N64? I remember playing C&C on an N64 as a kid but not sure if it was the original
Yuri's revenge really was a winner. When you played Yuri on skirmish mode, you could make insane hybrid units
there’s a 4th one? like seriously?
There is. It was a forced e-sport project that ended up re-hashed as a traditional campaign based RTS.
It basically killed the mainline Tiberium franchise.
What are you talking about? That game doesn't exist.
Haha, yeah that would be bad if they’d made a game like that.
wasnt it some chinese mobile game they just reskinned as c&c, filmed a few videos, and called it a day?
That's good to know, I owned Tiberian Sun as a kid and I heard it wasn't the greatest (just got it because James Earl Jones... dumb I know but hollywood stars for FMV in games back then wasn't common). I have 3 and 4 I got free when EA was doing give-aways of old games. Good to know if I were to go in to do 3. I tried the remaster of the first one but the quality of life improvements of newer games... oof... anyone playing that is going off pure nostalgia.
Supreme Commander 2 is in a similar position
