How often do you go to Vegas?

My wife and I are in our early 60’s and making good money these days. We like to travel and for the last 15 years we have gone to Vegas twice a year. Once in summer and then for NFR I December. We just got back from a trip Memorial weekend staying at the Mirage and hanging around the pool for several days. It was a great trip.

So much so that we are thinking of making another trip back in August since we have comp room offer from Mandalay Bay. We spend usually $2-3k on one of these trips since we are using comp rooms and flying on Southwest points. We don’t gamble a huge amount and have a budget for what we do.

I’m wondering if we are overdoing the Vegas thing. We enjoy the hell out of it and it’s a pretty cheap trip for us. It’s not a long haul from Austin either.

How many of y’all make multiple annual trips to Vegas? Are we obsessed?
