Can someone please help me find the video of trisha paytas saying that when she was on physcadelics a dog gave her her phone password because she forgot i am trying to find it everywhere but i can’t 😭
Hi! Hopefully this post is allowed, mods - if it isn't, please feel free to remove it, no hard feelings, I'm just trying to get a clear, accurate and comprehensive picture of who Trisha Paytas is. You see, I'm a small creator on YouTube and I cover controversial people on my channel. One of the big parts of my commentary is that not everything is black and white, my channel description reads:
I make 10-20 minute video essays that provide analytical commentary, deep dives on influencer controversies, opinion pieces, and the latest social media dynamics. My name is Danielle & I believe in the power of change, 2nd chances—and even 3rd chances. Join me as I cover old controversies with a new perspective and explore current day topics.
More than that I firmly believe very few people are truly irredeemable. I like to focus on nuance and encourage critical thinking. Rarely do I think someone can't change; however, Ruby Franke, for example, is not redeemable. Harming minors is where I draw the line. In contrast, even Gypsy Rose has a shot at turning things around if she wanted to despite my critical commentary on her.
& I say all of this because Trisha Paytas, is a rare example of this premise.
So, I've taken the time to do a deep dive into her lore. I'm new to Trisha, I've always known the name, heard of her, but I did not know much, if anything about her, or her many controversies, but I heard she had a redemption arc recently and so I started researching and watching other commentary videos on Trisha, looking up different articles, her Wikipedia page and IMDB credits before making the decision two days ago to go ahead to the source and watch every single one of the videos currently available on her channel. It's likely going to take me over 20+ days to do so and I'm currently on video 141 of 2,300+.
I have so many thoughts, because the prevailing narrative out there is that Trisha started out as and was always a troll. But in these first videos between 2007 and mid-2012 I see someone who has dreams and aspirations. I see authenticity. I see someone who likely has a lot of horrible shit happening around them off camera and I see her coming online day in and day out to share things that make her happy. I see the mean comments. I see unpopular opinions that were way ahead of their time in terms of body positivity and ultimately, I am seeing someone who wanted people to like them, who wanted to share things that made them happy, who wanted to be seen and was torn down by keyboard warriors until they said, "bet you want a villain, I'll give you a villain" and I want to explore the nuance involved in that because I see a villain origin story.
So, that leads me to an important question, what was Trisha's first controversy that got people saying she was a troll/bad? I imagine those videos aren't available because they got her in hot water?
Was it the Mitt Romeny video in late 2012/early 2013? Was it her character Trishii? The Japanese Popstar? when was that video first posted (it's now unavailable on every link I click).
Thank you so much for your help, time & attention.

Cupcakke released a new album today and on one of her songs “Yawn” she references Trisha in a lyric:
“If I am an eater, I’m one of the greatest. Mukbang on that thing like my last name is Paytas.”
For those who don’t know CupCakKe, she’s a rapper who is well known for her very sexual songs that went viral online. She first went viral in 2016 when Shane Dawson and Twaimz did a carpool kareoke featuring one of her songs, and she later did a carpool video with Shane. When he got cancelled in 2020, CupCakKe spoke out about no longer supporting him.
I wasn’t sure if the original was taken down or not because I’d like to see the full video.
