Hey,

With family (2+2; 11,9 yo) we are going to spend a week in January on Gran Canaria. I’m wondering if it’s better to stay in Las Palmas and rent a car to travel to south or stay south (Maspalomas?) and travel to the north.

We like to go to restaurant for a late dinner and after that go to see something more just than vacation homes. But on the other hand we like to spend sometime on a beach during the day. We are not looking for attractions like amusement parks etc. Just to rest, chill and have always something to eat next to the corner, especially in the afternoon.

Both options have pros and cons, one day I think that north is better and the next day the opposite 😉 so I’m looking for some advice from more experienced travelers or someone who was or live there. Thanks in advance!!
