I’m thinking a spiderweb but I’m struggling to find a design I like because I don’t like when the middle of it looks too empty/ perfectly round. I also don’t want something toooo detailed, because I KNOW that shits gonna hurt. Any suggestions welcome, here are my other tattoos so you can see what might go nicely with them. How much did your knee tat hurt?
I’m always a fan of animals heads or flowers for knees. In your case I think an animal head would work best. I have a goat head on one knee and an Oni Mask on the other. My Oni definitely gets the most compliments.

I personally think any traditional Peony would look dope in the space (see reference photo, disregard the grey wash background). Expect two sessions as it will be more preferable for recovery and allow for the best healing/settling of ink in a tough place that bends/moves frequently. Inside thigh and near the inner knee will be extremely tender. Also directly on the bone won’t be pleasant.
