I don't think it's anti-Muslim or bigoted.

I don't think he is criticising Mr Khan because Mr Khan is pro-Muslim -- he is criticising him for not taking a harder stance against the rise of conspicuous Islamists in protests of recent months.

I would say the bit "his mates" is ad hominem ... but I don't see where the prejudicial comments are?

Being Islamist is not associated with a skin colour. You can be a white middle class guy and rush over to Syria to fight for ISIS - which happened.
