I would like to choose 3 top laners from these to rotate around, to learn better, they are all top laners that I know how to use, although some of them you don't even need to know how to use ahah: Darius, Garen, Malphite, Mundo, Illaoi, Yorick, Kled, Sett, Nasus, Jax, Morde

3 of that, are my best

how do i fight this? every tank rushes it first item, and it makes it impossible to win lane cause they go in, take a bad trade, then run and come back full hp

in your opinion which champs are best niche or off meta top picks?
For the longest time I would have said Rengar, as he was always really good top, but right now he feels a little lackluster.
Which champs do you think are actually good top but only few people know?

Looking to one trick a new champion I am kinda new and I tried gp he was kinda fun but too hard so I'm looking for a champ that is: 1. Kinda Hard but not as hard as gp 2. 1v9 potential 3. spilt pusher 4. Is good to one trick Edit: can you please put a good content creator that plays the champion so I can learn from him

Hello everyone! I started LoL fairly recently 4 months ago and been one tricking Urgot. I just moved up to bronze and am pretty happy where I am. Love urgot but sometimes in ranked he’s either banned or the enemy picks someone that hard counters urgot and I can’t pick anyone else for now.

Started playing Garen for a change and he seems quite simple and straightforward. It got me thinking.

I would like to learn three champs for top lane that supplement each other’s weakness so I can enjoy different styles and have someone in my back pocket if urgot gets a hard match up or team needs a different role.

Ideally, they should be different styles and learning difficulty isn’t too much of a factor if the champion is rewarding

I’m currently working on a website for League of Legends players (already riot approved), which offers unique 1v1 statistics that you won’t find on platforms like OP.GG, U.GG, or Lolalytics.

What makes It unique?

• 1v1 Winrates by Level: Compare how two champions perform against each other in solo fights at each level from 1 to 18. For example, you can see the win percentage for Darius vs. Garen at level 1, 2, 3, and so on.
• Counter Search Tool: Input a champion’s name and find out which champions have overall the best win rates against them in 1v1 fights, based on millions of solo kills data.

All the data is scraped from real games, providing accurate and up-to-date statistics on champion matchups from the past 30 days.

Since I don't use game outcomes or "general overall" statistics as a winrate, but rather actual data from 1v1 fights for each individual level, this tool can be incredibly useful for Top-laners, improving gameplay and understanding matchups better.

First look

As a small heads up, the website is in an early development state. I just started using the API a week ago, so there aren't that many solokills inside the database for every single matchup yet (30.1 million). Also the Website is a bit slow right now if too many users connect to it at the same time, but if the site is well received by you, i will definitely change the web host, so that everything works more smoothly in the future.

Let me know if you have any feedback, other feature requests or questions.

EDIT: Thanks a lot for all your positive comments and feedback. I already worked on most of a few feedback requests and changed the following:

• You can click on each individual Champion within the Counterlist now to automatically compare him with the search champion
• Added a confirm button for Filters so they reprocess the last compare and counter search with the new filters
• When re-visiting the website, the last entered champions will be saved and automatically reenter
• The 50% line in the middle stands a bit more out now
• Champions are sorted by names
• The Counterlist has a minimum size now so that it's readable on smaller screens
• Further changes soon: Sorting Champions by lanes and fixing Names (Monkeykin = Wukon) for searches.

Hey there im a hardstuck silver noob. The last 4 or 5 seasons I played support but i dont want to play that role anymore. Now i want to go toplane but im completely clueless about which champ i should play.

1. A champ that doesn't need 200 games to even learn.
2. A champ with the possibility to farm range with a skill. (if the ranged toplaner poke all the time)
3. A champ with a gap closer to reach the ranged enemy.
4. A champ with a escape maybe.

I know its hard to find a champ with all four points there. So the importance is like the number.

And the champ should be fun to play but as fun is person reference i dont count that much.

Champs i thought about would be teemo and kennen. As ranged toplaner they can farm at a safe distance and both got a speed up to disengage. I played morde and sett so far. Both are kinda fun to play but as soon as the enemy frreze the lane im fu**ed up as i dont know what to do. And against ranged toplaner i struggle completely if my jungler doesnt come up to safe my ass. Even as sett with doran shield, revitalize and second wind i didn't heal enough to even farm as sett.

Im not completely dumb so some kind of learning curve is ok but i guess yone is a champ you really need to learn first till you can play good.

i just love the hyper aggro playstyle, i love to be shoving my lead down there throat under there turret making them cry for there jungler, only for there jungler to come and i dumpster them both. atm my only champ like this is mordekaiser, where i just spam Q on them under turret, and suffocate there resources. ganks lead into my ulting the jungler lol. any other reccomendations?

Legitimately what's the point of playing tank/bruiser anymore? You just get shredded by the ungodly amount of %damage in the game and they have over 20 self-peel tools that they can rely on....

Low elo bronze/silver. Anyone have any good tips on influencing a losing botlane to rotate top after I take T2 or even T1. Itseems like even when I have a perfect time to rotate, I'm on my way going down botlane and they are dead or in base, thell still just prance down bot and try and 3 man, leaving top wide open.

Is it even worth trying to rotate? should I just stay top and take as much as resources as I can ?

want to pick up a good blind pick , feel like my champ pool is pretty volatile. maining fiora, vayne, camille currently, blinding fiora/ camille depending on comp

Hey Toplaners!

I have recently gained a re-found love of the top lane, and it's champion pool.
However, moving into trying to play it more competitively, I am finding one major issue I keep running into:

When my enemy laner is a split pusher, even a tiny bit, I then spend the REST of the game, constantly battling myself in my own head, as to when to go back to toplane to match them, so they cant free-push, and actually going with my team to objectives, where me being there can often be a deciding factor.
I often feel stuck, and like no matter what I do, even if I try and shove a wave, before helping elsewhere, I end up losing first tower way too often, and when it comes to me pushing topside, I almost never feel confident enough to take plating's after a solo kill topside, for the fear of enemy junglers coming and ruining my happiness :p
I am really not trying to complain, I help figuring out what I can actively do, or change in my playstyle to address the issues I am facing.

FOR CONTEXT:
I am a bronze/silver level player, (though I rarely play ranked) who has mained every role at some point or another, but the last time I spent effort on ranked, I was an adc main, and this was 2 and a half splits ago, I think.
Currently, there are a handful of champions I feel I do better at, in the toplane specifically. Those are, in no particular order:
Teemo, Shen, Olaf, Ornn, Kayle, Garen, Singed & Trundle. I have also been enjoying Cho'Gath as of late.

Any advice?

Haven't played rank in a few years. I'm an ARAM enjoyer. What are some solid picks that have been resisted to change season to season?

The champs im interested in right now are Tryndamere, Fiora, and Darius but I will be probably low elo after placements so a strong carry throughout the game is probably needed. What do you guys think?

I'm tired of picking META champions. I wanna annoy enemies instead.

A bit of a weird question, im a Yorick otp and ive been steadily climbing out of silver, but i noticed something that i dont have much control over.

A lot of times i curbstomp champs such as garen, irelia, riven, etc... (any annoying broken champion) and go 3/0, absolutely destroy them, cs lead. Then when im in the midgame my teammate start feeding them to the point where i can no longer split because they just can 1v1 me. I try to split but they just one shot the goons and maiden and i just die.

You got any tips on how to deal with this situation?

ravenous users everywhere. just had a trundle tank my entire kit while focusing a wave and still be full health once i realised i wasnt dealing any amage. i had triforce and plated and he had ravenous and afew bork components. every game whichever adc wins the lane wins the game. people keep picking jhin lucian and doing nothing . i have no idea whats going on

(Note: This only applies to ranged champs not designated for toplane. Champs such as teemo, jayce, quinn, kayle, etc are all completely balanced with specific wincons on how to beat them.)

Almost every high elo top laner this patch plays TF/Vayne top and it is even apparent at the lower ranks aswell. Playing vs ranged top laners on any melee character feels legitimately terrible for almost everyone in the game. The person laning vs the ranged top doesn't have fun, the team with the ranged top doesn't have fun, and the team with the melee top doesn't have fun (because they will inevitably be down in CS).

Top lane as a whole is so incredibly weak compared to last split (as jungle and adc got giga buffed instead of just nerfing supports, along with sterak sledgehammers and tenacity essentially gone from the game XD!), and when you have to lane vs a ranged top (that isn't designed to be in toplane), all agency is taken out of the game along with your wincon of just farming and playing safe if jungle doesn't gank you.

Additionally, the argument of "Stop crying! Their comp will be worse if they have ranged top!". What if it isn't? What if the enemy team drafts correctly and instead plays tank jungle or an engage support? You lose lane for free with no recompense? You have no control over the game at all? And it's supposed to be fine?

Even if having a ranged toplaner destroys the comp, why should that be fine? Why should the opposing ranged top laner be able to torture you, and his team? Isn't a video game supposed to be fun? Why does locking in a champ at select have the power to instantly sap away entertainment of a video game for other people?

It's so disgusting how Riot refuses to do anything about it simply because they are lazy and don't want to change the game at all for the better. Even worse are the people who state "What are RIOT supposed to do?" God, that's such a great point. What if Riot could change the game? Maybe make it so that non-designated ranged top laners receive less xp and gold from waves? Maybe actually think of a solution instead of just doing air and releasing skins nonstop?

Just crazy to me personally though icl.

Ranged character designed to play top with two dashes full invisibility and a mordekaiser ultimate where she can go from one side to another. Only good thing is she got only a slow. We’re in some deep shit guys.
