Are workpants/shorts like these a thing in North America or will you get laughed off site for wearing them instead of a belt? // confused scandinavian electrician
Am I missing something or do you need to take everything out every afternoon so you can put it all into tomorrow’s shorts or do the pockets unclip or do you you just never wash your shorts?
I wash them every friday:) and it takes about 40 seconds to empty them so i don’t think it’s too bad!
You wear the same pants all week?
Its a European thing for people from places where they dont sweat much… I worked on a project with germans who didnt wash their braces (overalls) except once a month (smelled like at least). We made the project manager force them to wash twice a week.

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying it's genetic thing? That they don't sweat much? Or they don't work hard enough to sweat? Or what are you saying?
For sure not genetics, it's the temperature. Most of the year it doesn't get that hot.
lol that’s fucked.
You switch pants every single day??
Yes. I wear clean clothes everyday. I didn't realize that was so unusual.
It really depends on your job/work environment. If you aren't working in the heat, clothes last longer.
Even in the dead of winter, my clothes get dirty enough to change them everyday. Maybe you don't sweat as much, but the work is just as dirty in the cold as it is in the heat.
That's what I mean about it depending on your job though. I'm a crane operator. If I have to build a crane, yeah I get one day. If I'm just running the crane (and it has AC) I get a week from my clothes.
I'll give you that. But I still dont understand not putting on a new set of clean clothes on in the morning. Would you do that outside of work?
Shirts, not usually. Jeans, yes. You're not actually supposed to wash denim after every wear.
