TIL: Robin Williams autopsy revealed he had about 40% loss of dopamine neurons and almost no neurons were free of Lewy bodies throughout his entire brain and brainstem from Lewy body disease (LBD)

That's brutal. It's bad enough that he was living with mental health issues but to find out he had a disease that was essentially making it worse it heartbreaking. He really must have been suffering hard in the end.
