Bullshit.
pass a meaningful minimum wage increase
State and local democrats have been more then successful at this. There are plenty of states to point at and the democratic party includes state legislators.
codify roe v wade
This was never going to happen as it requires republican buy-off, which obviously never will happen. The best and only avenue to protect abortion rights was the supreme court, and left leaning people didn't turn out for Hillary because she sucked, but also because they didn't care.
pass universal healthcare
massive overhauls require more democrats in congress or senate. you may not like it but there isn't enough democrats in this country to push these things along. You can blame the democratic party, I'd blame the american people.
Obama passed the ACA and the number of uninsured americans dropped by over 20 million since its inception. You can pretend like that's nothing but I'll defer to the 20 million americans who now have healthcare. Fuck off.
reduce college costs
Biden literally forgave 5 million americans' student loans.
disinvest from Israel
Democrats have never had this as part of their platform, and it exposes what type of person you are lmao.
get rich people to pay their fair share
reverse overall income inequality
Trends on the economy show that generally, income inequality fares better under democrats, unemployment and growth tends to be stronger, and more. If you're looking for a silver bullet i suggest you go live in fantasy land.
“Abortion rights advocates found an ally in then-Sen. Barack Obama, who told Planned Parenthood early in his Democratic White House bid that “the first thing I’d do as president” would be to codify Roe by signing the latest iteration of the Freedom of Choice Act. But four months into his presidency, Obama said it was “not my highest legislative priority” and suggested energy would be better spent reducing unintended pregnancies. “ source: https://19thnews.org/2022/01/congress-codify-abortion-roe/
this 100% aligns with what i said. He realized he couldnt get the votes and pivoted to healthcare.
No what happened was that a democrat decided to take the weak, moderate path in order to appease the right. You see that reflected in Obamas rhetoric about this. Obama had a supermajority of democrats from around 2009 to 2013 that he failed to take advantage of. https://www.reuters.com/article/markets/us/obama-says-abortion-rights-law-not-a-top-priority-idUSN29466420/
