# Subreddit Rules

2. Submissions must either be TV Shows Requests or Suggestions. Anything else gets removed. For movie suggestions go to /r/MovieSuggestions.

3. For Requesting posts:    
 * Use a descriptive title that lets people know if they might be able to help or not
 * Try to give as much detail as possible for the series you want.

4. For Suggesting posts:    
 * Don't suggest more than one series in a post.    
 * Include the title of the show in the post's title.    
 * Please wait six months before suggesting a previously recommended series.    
 * Don't promote a series you've worked on.    
 * Don't suggest a series that hasn't aired yet.    
 * Only link to neutral sources, [this subreddit isn't your link farm](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion).

5. No TV show reviews. Keep things concise. For reviews, try r/TVCritic, r/videoessay, and r/television.

6. No identifying or pitching shows. If you're trying to remember the name of a show go to r/tipofmytongue. If you have an idea for a show go to r/TVshowideas and r/PitchATVShow

7. No Piracy. Don't mention it, request it, or offer it.

8. No Shilling. No self-promotion of any kind.
