Supercell signature?

Don’t listen to that guy, no reason to be nasty if you’re simply seeking education. Supercells do make it to Bowling Green rn there is more explosive convection to the west in Missouri and it’s slowly making its way for another round of storms in Tennessee and Kentucky later this evening. A supercell signature will have a more distinct hail core signature and isn’t normally a straight line. They look more like blobs on radar with the worst of the precipitation/heavy hail core being near the back of the storm. The picture you took here is more of a storm associated with straight line winds and the worst of the precipitation is along the front of the storm in a straight line. These storms can still drop tornadoes though but isolated supercells are normally what put down the long track ef2+. If you look to the West of Kentucky rn on radar you can see several isolated supercells that have separated from the main squall line. When you think supercell think of one big rotating cloud base that pulls air into the storm. You will see more circular signatures essentially is what I’m getting at.
