I know this has been posted before but I was looking for personal experiences with the different companies in town. Google reviews is kind of hit and miss for the major companies I've seen around town. I'm looking for the best bang for my buck and who has the easiest bill pay. Paying online is my preferred method but if there's a company with great service that only takes payment by phone. I can work with that. Appreciate the feedback
They just show up on schedule and take my shit. No more no less which is all I would ever want from a trash service. Plus their affordable

Second Ozark refuse, they go above and beyond.
I've used Ozark Refuse for years. Their price increases have been modest and justified, they let me use my own container. I can pay by phone or online from a link in my emailed invoice. If they overlooked a pickup they either come by later in the week or credit my account. I've seen other people on Nextdoor complaining about drama from other companies and I'm really happy to give that a miss.
Throwing my hat in as well for Ozark Refuse. They've been our service since we moved here 2 years ago. No issues.
My only suggestion is to regularly check their FB page to know when service might be delayed for a holiday/bad weather/etc.
DO NOT DO REPUBLIC SERVICE. They suck every way possible. They just straight up wouldn’t pick up my recycling and they were a purposeful pain in the ass to cancel.

I had the exact same experience. Ozark Refuse is a much better option than Republic.

I have Queen City and have been happy with them. You can pay online and with auto-pay. I'm not a huge fan of their website but it is fairly simple and I've never had a problem with. You can even pay a full year at a time if you want but I think you have to call them for that.
I use Queen City as well and I've been happy enough with them. I switched from Republic and the only thing I miss is that Republic would call the day before if trash wasn't going to be picked up.
Another vote for Queen City - they are nice if I do have to call and we’ve had no issues
As others have said, Ozark Refuse is great. Avoid Patriot and Republic. Both were utter pains to deal with. Patriot just didn't pick our trash up for over a month and required a lot of back and forth to cancel because of the app the make you use, and you can't call them. Republic sent us a late notice with a massive fee that arrived two days before our bill.
Moore's trash service is great. I pay like $57 every three months and they have always been reliable.

Ozark Refuse is what I've always used, and as far as I know they're the highest rated in town. I had some issues regarding my recycling pickup years ago, but it hasn't been a problem since. They also recently started doing online pay.
Only weird things are that they only post service updates through Instagram, and if you look at negative google reviews they're extremely combative.

every god damn trash service I look like is like this and it's so infuriating. Like, they're all like 4 stars on google, but the 1/5 people that give a negative review are met with this some troglodyte response by some goon that must think they're like, mobbed up, hanging out with the Gambino crime family or some shit, ranting like a maniac at every negative review. here's another one all caps screaming constantly like a trump truth social post promising he didn't just shit his diaper in court.
It sucks ass and makes deciding on anything impossible, because just like...look at the people in this thread, most say Ozark Refuse is great. But you look at a couple bad experiences and it's like, wtf, this is insane, I don't want to take the chance of ever having to deal with this. Same thing with Queen City. Shit's infuriating.

Pendergrass has been great for us! They also take recycling at no additional charge. You can pay by phone or mail in a check, and they are good with you paying 6 months at a time.
Ozark Refuse is the best! Their recycling tubs are small, but we love them.
Pendergrass is what I have used the past 5 years and I have no complaints. They are very affordable and have only missed a pickup day once due to an ice storm. They don’t do online payments, but you can pay by phone.

Waste Management has been good and consistent for me. I know they aren't the cheapest, but their bill autopays and they gave me a really big trash can and a similarly sized recycling can with both getting picked up every week.
I haven't shopped around for a few years, but when I did recycling was a big hassle for everyone other than WM, like pickup on the 3rd thursday of every other month sort of stuff that I was never going to be able to keep track of so that was the deciding factor for me, it may not be a concern for you.
Had Pendergrass for like 5 years now. They're always super nice and I've never had any issues with em. Though I think they are pay through the phone only?

I've used Queen City for 7 years .I pay like $53 every 3 months. It used to be about $48, but they raised it due to gas prices.
I wouldn't go with Queen City. A friend of mine informed me that her camera caught her trash collector pick up her garbage and then shortly after the SAME truck came and collected her recycling. It was all taken taken to the dump and nothing was getting recycled despite her paying the recycling fees. There should be a class action lawsuit if that's the case.
Ozark Refuse again.... Also if you pay yearly, you get a month free, just a heads up. That is what I do.
We use MTS, Moore Trash Service. Have for several years. Good price, always reliable, they do recycling if you want but idk the price. I would recommend them to anyone, I've never had any issues or concerns. Idk their number but if you Google it'll pull up.

Queen City
Gonna throw out another Queen City here. Have used them for years now. Haven't ever had a real issue. The one time we did have a problem, they resolved it quickly.
Bill is also low and transparent. They let us know about the gas surcharge and why and it's listed separately so we can see it.
(Our neighbor also has QC and their bin got stolen/fell in the truck/blew down the street in a storm so they took ours.
QC took care of bringing us another instead of making us deal with police reports and things like Republic would have.)
