I got a real laugh over Delores saying she’s always been and independent woman when she’s actually always been a kept woman. I think she means she’s always been alone, that doesn’t equate to independent in her case!
so i was really confused by this statement as well. because when we first met her, frank was handling all her bills and her friends were telling her she needs to be more independent, and not rely on frank so much.

I was always really curious about her first season where Frank was giving her money (supposedly). They had been divorced for like 20 years at that point. I think one of the kids was under 18 at that point so part of it could’ve been child support, but she made it seem like he was bankrolling her life. Wonder if it was out of guilt or if there was some kind of arrangement w/ spousal support (doesn’t that usually end when the partner gets remarried, and she hasn’t yet)… She definitely has a knack for getting men to pick up the bill 😂
