There used to be a Romios pizza but that shopping plaza got demolished for another construction project. Meanwhile, in place of it an Indian restaurant opened but they still use the Romios name for Pizza and Pasta on delivery apps. I don’t understand how the new establishment is able to use the Romios name or if there is any sort of franchising agreement? But it does seem that Romios pizza is no more officially and it is another Indian restaurant in its place.
I went there once. Threw the entire pizza in the trash. My god.
They have been operating ghost kitchens with images of dishes stolen from random food blogs, so shady.
Thanks for the heads up
I can't remember every getting Romio's pizza and being happy about it. I was always surprised it stayed in business as long as it did.
There is another Romio's (maybe more than one?) So maybe the app delivery is from there?
Is this the same Romeo’s at the one in Kirkland?
No they are thinking of the one that was next to value village and is now a hole in the ground
It used to be great around 2016 or so I got it mall the time..Romios.
Agreed, Romios was the best back in the day! TBH it always felt like a front for some other business but the pizza was good.
Wow, definitely new ownership, their website now says "Indo Italian Pizza" and they have butter chicken, tandoori chicken etc. pizzas on the menu.
The Martello building on Eastlake Ave E in Seattle used to be a Romio's, I often went there for cheap pitchers when I was a UW student 20 years ago: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ee/Seattle_-_the_Martello_01.jpg
Romios used to be one family but it got broken into several locations and they all kinda did their own thing. The Redmond one has definitely lost its way; try the Totem Lake one, it's the best of the survivors and has some employees from the better original locations.
Romios had a bommarillu biryani sign under it in the value village plaza for years. They were sharing kitchens or ghost kitchening. Probably just reversed now.
It's approaching the point where, if you live in Redmond and you're not into Indian food, well buddy, you're up Shitts Creek and you ain't got a paddle.
Pretty sure they sold it a while back and the new owner kept the name active. Food has really gone to shit though.
