Quilt as you go or applique? I made this from a bag of mens ties I purchased at a quilt show. I plan to add it to the beige to become the top. The tie part is fully assembled. Can I do a QAYG or should I applique it?

Hi! I ripped the seams and cut the 'guts' out of the ties, leaving just the fronts. Then cut those in half lengthwise. Then I literally just sewed them together. I appliqued the orange circle in the middle which was made from the lining of one of the ties. It's a bit wonky but I think it's groovy baby. Plus it was fun to just say, well let's see what happens 😀
