I recently presented this quilt to my cousin and her new baby! The nursery is winnie the pooh and let me tell y'all . . . for something in the public domain it was hard finding fabrics that I liked! I felt like the plain blue and gingham squares were current + trendy, and I absolutely LOVE the raindrop squares inspired by the blustery day!
I love Hawthorne Supply Co for their color matching feature. It made make this quilt so much easier. And I have to say, I had a mini panic halfway through because my sewing machine broke! I hand-quilted the entire thing + the binding. It honestly wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be and I may try hand quilting more often now.
