First time doing facing. Very happy with the results.
Finished QuiltsThat’s amazing, I’m new to FPP (but already obsessed) definitely going to check out your app.
Is it available in the iOS App Store? It’s not coming up for me.
It's a desktop app: https://www.picarious.com/picture-piecer-app-downloads/
Ohh I hadn’t thought of that haha. Thank you so much for sharing!
I just looked up the app, and holy cow I can’t wait to use it! That’s absolutely amazing!
I couldn't find it!
Here it is. It’s a Microsoft app, so I can’t look at it on my iphone, but I assume if you open it on a desktop it should work
Thank you!
Holy cow, this is incredible!
Thanks!
I love your quilting choice also. Spectacular quilt!
Thanks!
Best binding choice and this quilt is just sooooo dynamic! Love it!!!
Thank you!
This is seriously incredible. I hope you enter into a quilt show.
Thanks!
What a great quilt - and a vry clever app. I wish I could access it but unfortunately I only have Linux on my laptop and Android on my tablet. Well done on both achievements.
Thank you! The app could be ported to either of those platforms (I used a cross-platform technology to make it) but, unfortunately, it becomes too burdensome to simply prepare and maintain all those platform releases.
I quite understand. It is a lot of work.
Your quilt is gorgeous and this app is AMAZING! I’ve been looking for something like this forever
Thanks!
This is awesome!! Looks like it took some time. What do you mean by “facing” and why your choice of Ed White? Is it for a special person or occasion? Just wondering.😊
Facing is a style of binding that is gathered to the back so that you don't get a "picture frame" effect. As for the subject matter, it's just a photo I have always loved.
It’s truly wonderful!
Could I request a photo of the binding/ back of binding? I'd love to see how it works!
Thank you! So I assume the front is folded over behind the binding?
The binding is attached to the front and then folded to the back. Depending on skill-level, some of the front may fold back with it :)
Thanks for explaining, I appreciate it! The quilt is stunning and I have your software book marked from another post you made. I'm only on my second quilt but when I'm ready to tackle fpp I'll definitely be taking a look at it.
This is remarkable! I hope you enter this in a quilt show.
Thank you!
Oh wow!!
Thanks! That's the reaction I was hoping for.
Very impressive!
Thanks!
This is amazing! I love it!
Thank you!
Amazing!!! Just beautiful
Thank you!
Brilliant
This is great! I love the quilting pattern. Did you design that as well?
Thank you! I didn't design the quilting pattern. You can find it here: https://prostitcher.com/shop/atomic-burst-e2e/
🔥🔥🔥
AMAZING!!!
OH EM GEE
Totally awesome!
This is epic!!!
Just…..Wow!!!!
WOW!!!!!
Oh wow, this is amazing!
I was thinking of using your program for some photos I’ve got! Super excited to try it on this guy;
Please give it a try. Sometimes it is a challenge mixing fine detail (the trumpet) and courser detail (the person). Be prepared for a complex pattern.
Holy smokes I did not expect a 500pg pattern! (I did 100x110” so partly my bad)
Haha, yeah it's possible to create a lot of work for yourself. The astronaut was 450 pages.
I love a good challenge!
Do you have a link to your app? I couldn't find it in the Google play store
It's a desktop app, https://www.picarious.com/picture-piecer-app-downloads/
Thank you!
WOW!!! BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks!

As someone who loves space, I’m in awe
Thank you!
Wonderful!!!!
Thank you!
Happy!?? You should be over the moon!! (Love the pun?) Tell me, what is facing?
Thanks! And I do like the pun. Check the comments. There is a brief discussion of facing in there.
Dude. That is awesome.
Thanks!
Damn OP. This is art.
Thank you! I feel that all quilts are art, really.
Magnificent!
Wow. So impressive.
In case you missed the recent post of the unfinished version:
This is a foundation paper piecing pattern derived from a photo of Ed White from Jun 3, 1965 - the first American spacewalk. The FPP pattern was created with an app called Picture Piecer (also created by me).
