Anyone play here? What's the vibe like? On previous posts, many people said the 1/2 400 cap game is very tight and nitty for the most part.
I'm on my way there now, play every weekend. Dakota's comment below is correct. I will add there is no shame or pressure if you sit out bomb pots. Many players like myself will encourage you to do so if you're not familiar.
I do not find the games to be nitty at all. Much like anywhere you'll have bad tables now and then, but Meadows usually has at least three tables running so you can request a change.
1/2 is a little misleading as it usually players closer to 2/5 with 15 being a pretty standard raise.
Anyway AMA I'm glad to answer, I probably spend 12-15 hours there a week.
How frequently do bigger games run? Do they ever run 5/10 + or a big Omaha game?
Well most days by four there's at least one big table in the room, like with multiple 2k stacks. But actual 1/3 (1k cap) only runs weekends after 5 or 6. 5/5 has been known to run but it's not common.
They run big o tournaments and they'll usually get a live game going on those days, maybe once a month? Their website has their calendar they keep it up to date.
So what happens on week nights? They don’t run 1/3?
They run 1/2, that is their staple game. 400 cap. On weekdays they usually get 3-5 tables running. Ok weekends it's 5-10.
Also I'm old so I don't know what goes on there after 9pm but I'm sure it picks up.
Oh gotcha. Sorry I misread your comment t.
