It's been almost 3 years since I first opened Pebblebot Repairs. Due to recent changes in my life, I can no longer keep repairing pebbles as regularly throughout the year as I used to. I will be closing down on June 8th, 2024 and although I may still be able to repair watches from time to time the wait times will be in the months. Thanks for your support.
Same :) battery life with the og watchface is still a week with mine.
You just gave my Time Steel a new lease on life. I hope I can get my other one in under the wire.
Just found out why 20mm's are impossible to get... Because you have all of them lol
Darn, I just now only learned of this and only to find out it has ended. I guess I will need to go elsewhere to get my pebble time fixed.
Assuming you're US? For anyone UK or EU based, please see my report on my PTS, back from the dead.
Thank you for your service!
Thank you for everything!
thanks for awesome work
Dude thanks so much for the years of service. You were awesome. Sad to see you go (can't find the salute emoji. Imagine it here)
Thank you! You're great!
You did excellent work for me in the past. The community is definitely losing a huge asset. All the best w/ your next venture, & many thanks for the stellar service
Thank you for your awesome service! You will be mised.
Thank you very kindly for service. I have to ask, though, since I never had the privilege of sending a Pebble 2 in, do you have any secrets of the trade to share on how to find a proper replacement for the 3.8V stock battery, or, do you have some magic to tweak the charge controller?
The pebble 2 uses a 3.7V battery instead of a 3.8V
Wait, really? Is it a different battery from the Pebble 2 HR?
https://www.reddit.com/r/pebble/comments/aj1jbi/battery_for_the_pebble_hr/
Main reason I ask is that I replaced my battery not long ago and I don't achieve nearly the weeklong battery life I do with units with a working original battery.
The pebble 2 and 2HR use the same battery. I buy mine from here.
Weird, and that's exactly the same one I use, too! Maybe I just didn't follow the calibration steps when I installed it.
I did not know about you. I have two Pebble Steels that have button problems. Oh well. They will be sitting around longer.
That's a Hella lot of pebble watches, I'm so glad the community still supports em well in 2024!
What do you use to reseal your PTRs? I've used Sugru on Time and Time Steels, but it seems too hard to get around those microscopic springs that go between the glass and the case.
I use sugru for the PTR. I'm able to get it around the springs but for my personal watches I just ignore the springs cause it doesn't make any sort of difference at all.
The Pet Sounds watch face looks great on PTR!!
Sad to hear about Pebblebot Repairs closing down. You've kept so many Pebble watches ticking! ⌚ Thanks for all your hard work and dedication over the years. Best of luck with your new adventures, and here's hoping you can still find time for the occasional repair!
Thank you for everything you did! Any chance you would part with a pebble? I miss mine!
Depends on price/model
Thanks for keeping them alive for so long ! Still wearing my 10 year old pebble steel 😊
