Looking for places that allow bonfires around SF, North Bay, or East Bay (with a little less wind exposure)? Trying to find a Plan B for places like Ocean B. and Muir B. if the winds are way too high.

I’ve done this in the past and it was pretty amazing! It’s a hike thru campsite so you kinda have to do a little backpacking. It’s gets windy though so be prepared and get your fire permit at the office before you hike.

For bonfires specifically though I find that camping is the way to go. Or personally I have a solo stove that I use in my house (I live in the North Bay) but it also comes with a carrying case so it’s portable that way to bring with you when you go camping. Costco has the bundle on sale rn if you wanna check it out.
