The Florida Panthers Win Game 7 by Score of 2-1 and are 2024 Stanley Cup Champions
MEGATHREADfor how great McDavid was this playoffs, he was really clumsy this game
He was out there for 25:42.
i mean yea but if he is gonna fumble the puck numerous times during crucial moments, he shouldn't be on the ice for so long.
Who else do you put out there? Oilers have absolutely zero depth at any position. McDavid is pretty easy to defend when your team has 4 top shelf D men and forwards who can actually play in their own zone
Yes I'm being slightly dramatic as others have pointed out the Janmark line was pretty consistently producing. Though, no one can say their D-Corps isn't shit and that Nurse is making 7.5m too much a year
The Janmark/Henrique/Brown line. Foegele and Holloway. The depth won them multiple games in the post season. Janmark’s line has consistently been the best in this series.
Not to mention actually did score.
True, maybe I was being over dramatic, their forward depth is much much better than that of their D-Corps. Though to caution about over valuing the Janmark line, they weren't going up against Barkovs line constantly and Ekblad-Montour
I’m not saying they’re better than McD or Drai, obviously not. But they had the jump, you go with the players that are on it, like they did with Foegele last game. It doesn’t matter now, I’m just tired of the narrative that we’re a 1 man team with no depth. Our depth won us the Dallas series against supposedly deepest team of all time. Game 6 had 11 different players with points, none for McDavid, he didn’t even have a shot and they won 5-1. This is not the 2017-2022 oilers
