After his 400th career game yesterday, Trae Young is eligible for all time NBA leaderboards. He currently ranks 4th all-time in APG and 11th all-time in PPG (as well as 5th all time in PTS/MIN and AST/MIN). He also passed Tiny Archibald with his 77th career 30+ PTS/10+ AST game, now 5th all-time.

I'll never get why people rate him so low

I constantly see him get ranked in the 25-30 range for "not being a winning player" despite how great his stats are and then the same lists will have Hali/Ant/Fox who have a combined 0 career playoff series wins as borderline top 15 lol

There's no other player ranked where the media ranks Trae where people expect them to even get close to competing for championships as a #1 yet somehow he's held to that standard

Probably like maximum 6-8 guys can actually be the best player on a championship team but out of the 10-30th best players Trae is the only one who gets called "not a winning player" on that grounds for some reason

Dame for example also peaked with a singular conference finals loss and is kind of a similar archetype(better shooter and worse passer and similarly weak defender) but he constantly got ranked as a top 10-15 player during his prime years and is on the 75 list
