I’m obsessed with the instrumental and soft singing of this song but I can’t put my finger on what genre this is. it’s really similar to kenya grace’s stuff (esp “only in my mind”) but i’m not sure what she’s considered either. i’m getting drum and bass or like trance (?) maybe?? i’m not sure but I need more of it.
Lana Del Rey’s A&W gets sort of like this on the 4th minute, all I can think about right now
I’m looking for the exact same thing, any finds !?
Hold and we’re finally landing by home
Röyksopp! Try their song Running To The Sea, as a starter but the build up instrumentals on Chihiro sounds is a dead ringer for their music to me
Absolutely. Been looking for similar sounds and Royksopp is the closest I can think of at moment. Such a good suggestion.
Songs I would suggest from them: What else is there, Never Ever, Monument, Vision One, Only this Moment
The bass line sounds like a slightly slowed down version of Dua Lipa's If It Ain't Me.
I googled the same thing. I guess and realised it will sound similar to what you’ve been listening in the past. There is NO ONE similar vibe but multiple. I listened to other people’s comparisons and they do have the same vibe especially the last part. For me, it totally gave me chills that it felt like
“Why do we shake in the cold” by Elderbrook.
Have a go, it feels good!
I hold you by clann gives me a similar vibes. I'd been looking for a song like that for YEARS and chihiro was one of the few that came close. It's definitely worth a listen
maybe Acid Rain by lorn?? it's not as soft but it always feels transcendent. i'm struggling with this too though... maybe some fka twigs.
eta: drug store romeos, the song frame of reference? this is tough bc i think we're seeing something pop defining with chihiro
eta 2: how about Girls Just Want To Have Fun by bladee?
not exact obv, but i think i like these songs for similar reasons at least.
