I’ve already used SubmitHub, Musosoup and Groover. Looking to submit to curators and get more legit listeners. Thank you.
Looking for new ways to submit/promote music to curators. Any leads?
QuestionMake playlist with your own tracks and use fb ads with it. On the long run the best option.... use hypeddit to make ads with few seconds.
Do you have examples of what the ‘visual’ / photo / video will llook like for this kind of advertisement? Or is the playlist art cover used by hypeddit? And what copy text do you use? What text helps people opening up the playlist? I want to try this, but no creativity yet on playlist ads, only single release ads on hypeddit also.
You promote first track on your playlist with default artwork. Works pretty good. About 10 likes per day
So first track, is used as a preview on a video with static album cover? And then clicking will link you ditectly to spotify or to a landing page? Also. What text do you put in the description above/below your ad content? (Like a text describing something? A story? Literally say its a playlist aimed on XXX? Could you send over a screenshot or copy/paste the text of your ad on fb/ig here?) I’m just very curious what text/deacription you get audience to click on the ad. Ofc its the music too, but text powers the ad ik.
well i use this page, it's super simple there. https://hypeddit.com/ 10 euros per month, then you can use playlist promotion AI fb ad .
hypeddit will put the text there etc. It's fb ads automation page.
Ah yeah, I switched from hypeddit to an alternative, because hypeddit - spams my mail - still slaps on their logo on the landing page - sends messages to your own collected emails, and after being redirected by the hypeddit landing page, the landing page redirects you to some shitty hypeddit branded page with exposure to other tracks (making yours at the moment less important). The features are good. Their need to market their brand during my own campaign is nuts. Makes me hate and love hypeddit.
Strange i dont see any spam anywhere, when i grow my playlist…
Well it depends if you use hypeddits gateway between click and playlist. The gateway pushes their own branding too much. My current platform doesnt even do that at the cheapest subscription. Hypeddit also pushes ethics, showing up a modal to sign up / fill in ur email. Big green send button. Tiny close button top right of modal, barely to see. Tricks people. They for sure use all marketing tricks though. I just never liked their own branding sticked on my own gateway page, and to think about it, you even pay for that. And the ad feature, i had a better performing ad when I tweaked on it myself, than how hypeddit’s ad performed. But all my experience. I would recommend hypeddit as well since theyre good to get growing
The short answer is all of the services that offer placements like this can’t really guarantee that you are getting real listeners. As much as they try, they can’t really weed out bad actors and you’re always rolling the dice a bit.
I second the playlist and advertising approach as a more scalable and legit way to get your streams up, while also building a real fan base that will buy merch and tickets down the road.
directly reach out to influencers or find legit music marketers that have connections with a whole database of influencers and build campaigns with them
Repost networks. Some make you back more money in streams than their services cost. Depending on genre, sound, quality etc tho. (All about soundcloud btw)
Ive found a more useful method can be actual direct engagement with bloggers etc, so interact with their posts on Twitter / Threads, start discussion rather than just posting your links etc
