Georgia 2024: Trump Ahead of Biden, 16% of Voters Express Support For Other Candidates In Broader Race, Quinnipiac Univeristy Georgia Poll Finds; 50% of Voters Agree With Guilty Verdict in Trump NYC Trial
Primary SourceWe have one side who deployed tactics in multiple states to overturn the 2020 election.
And one side who did nothing of the sort.
This isn't a both sides issue and a complete false equivalency.
Education is fun!
2016 reactions:
Russian Interference Propaganda: Significant attention was given to allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 election. This led to investigations by Congress and the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. The Mueller investigation confirmed Russian efforts to influence the election but did not find sufficient evidence to charge Trump’s campaign with conspiring with Russia.
Electoral College Protests: Some Democratic electors and activists called for members of the Electoral College to not vote according to their states' popular vote, urging them to vote for a candidate other than Trump. A few "faithless electors" did cast votes for someone other than Trump, but this did not alter the overall result.
Legislative and Congressional Objections: On January 6, 2017, during the certification of the Electoral College results, some Democratic members of Congress raised objections to the electoral votes from certain states.
2020 reactions:
Legal Challenges: Numerous lawsuits were filed in battleground states such as Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin. These lawsuits, brought by President Donald Trump's campaign and other allies, sought to invalidate or challenge the election results based on allegations of voter fraud and irregularities. Most of these lawsuits were dismissed due to lack of evidence.
Alternate Electors: In some states, groups of Republicans attempted to submit alternate slates of electors claiming that the certified results were fraudulent. This was part of a broader strategy to disrupt the certification of the Electoral College results.
Congressional Objections: On January 6, 2021, during the certification of the Electoral College results, some Republican members of Congress objected to the certification of the results from certain states. This led to debates in both the House and the Senate, although the objections were ultimately overruled, and the results were certified.
Good golly gosh, I see equivalency of both parties overreacting to election results and touting rigged elections with baseless claims. But you right my guy, your teams the bestest of boys and girls!!! Not like it's two wings of the same bird.
Thank you for proving that the two situations are completely different and not even close to being the same.
Quick question, how many people have been indicted for fake electors in the 2020 scheme?
How many people have been indicted for trying to overturn the 2016 election?

Playing ignorant to the fact Democrats were engaging in the exact same tactics prior is silly.

"Exact same tactics"
What does the word "exact" mean? When did democrats try a fake elector scheme and storm the capitol?
They were not the same tactics. And it is incredibly dangerous to normalize what happened on Jan 6th, 2021.
