Thanks!!
Yes! Two beautiful lynxies!
Thanks!!!!!π
Yep! π»
SΓ. Adorable af, too!!
My guy has this pattern on his back! It reminds me of arrows. He has the tabby mask face and striped forelegs. He's orange, cream chest/belly, and the stripes are chocolate. I've no idea what color to call him. Is this pattern what makes a lynx point?
Trying to a pic that shows this and isn't just silly sweet goofness.
Lynx point refers to Balinese and Siamese cats, so if your cat is mixed then possibly. But if it is just a domestic short hair, then no.
Aaand I just realized I'm in the wrong place. My guy is a Siberian, I saw the S and the kittens and jumped in, lol. He's very like a smoke in that he has that blur that's almost like a filter, but for his markings. He's orange, but it's very soft. He's just unique. (I'm not biased, he's amazing) So since I read this, I dug into it a bit more. It looks like he's a golden black tabby or a sunshine black tabby as it's sometimes called. Thank you for being so nice in your reply. β€οΈ I can't get my pictures to load or I'd introduce you. .
siberian cats can also be pointed. they're neva masquerade if your baby has blue eyes he/she is probably a neva
He's got the mask, but no, he's got green gold eyes. It's driving me nuts I can't add a pic. Thank you for being so nice, it looks like he doesn't get to join the chat.
Does this mean my kittens have mixed of either Balinese or Siamese? Cos the dad's breed was unknown. Friends suggested siamese due to their blue eyes and tail. Can regular domestics have lynx points too? Genuinely trying to figure out their breed.
Someone replied to me and explained, not sure if you saw that. The lynx point is the fur pattern but only tends to show in Balinese, Siamese, or cats mixed with these breeds. My lynx point Balinese looked just like them when she was a kitten, so itβs definitely very possible. You found the help you were looking for !
*Hope you found the help you were looking for lol
Yes thank you for your reply. It's much clearer now!
lynx point can be siamese it can also be mixed breed. the term lynx point is referring to the pattern not the genetics as is the case with any point. the cat can also be a pure bred and a point or it can be not a pure bred and a point.
BABIES!! So cute! π
OMG, they are absolutely adorable! Yes, they look like lynxies, although you mentioned some orange in their coats? Their stripes and ears will get darker as they grow up. We call that toasting. That's also typical of color-point kitties. Anyway, enjoy your double trouble!
So far no orange. Mum was a DSH jet black. Dad was unknown when we adopted them. So glad to find this sub! At least we're closer to figuring out the breed. Boy is a tad more trouble then the girl. Joy to watch!
They're clones! ... Like Alice Cooper sang about ...π»π€π
Haha! There was 4 of em up for donation. We got lucky with 2!
Cool, they're blessed
Sure looks like it. Gorgeous kitties!
Thank you! They sure are!π
