I arrived at my mom’s house yesterday to see my 6 year old daughter playing with THIS.
Me: “Where did THAT come from!??!?”
Mom: “Oh, I found it in the old house” (we have an old 1910s farmhouse that we lived in until we moved our current house on to the property in 1995). “I’m sure I bought this for you and forgot to give it to you. I found it over there so I gave it to her.”
Me: “Uhhh…you don’t happen to know what old, sealed Lego sets in great condition go for, do you?”
Let’s just say Mom’s jaw dropped when I told her. I’m happy my daughter is getting to play with one of my favorite old sets though!
