Thought about this when I was playing Olaf earlier today. Without his E doing 400 true damage, I don't think he would be the menace he is.
True damage is removed from the game. What champs are now good and which ones are now terrible?

Before some updates Garen's ult was magic damage (except on one specific target, I don't remember if it was only ap before that)

I think it was mixed. True damage was based on missing health I think. But that could be wrong. I don't have the brain capacity any longer to remember that far back unless it was important.
It was the villain system or something. The one that killed you or your friend get marked as villain and will take true dmg from garen ult. Not sure, that’s off the top of my head.

Ig a better question to ask would be what champion would be playable if you changed one of their abilities to true dmg.
Every champion is playable as it is currently, if your next question is "which champion would be better if they did true damage?" The answer is every champion...

Any champ that deals true damage now oneshots squishies that dont build defences.
Vayne would be pretty trash if the true damage portion gets switched to physical damage.
If it gets switched to magic damage she'd only need a few compensation buffs to be decent.
Honestly Q max crit Vayne is viable and doesn't care all too much about the true damage.
Vayne would be in shambles, tanks would rejoice
true damage is truly overpowered in this game needs to be tuned down a bit
It'd be stupid but sometimes an item that counter true damage would be sweet. Give me low stat but unique passive that reduce true damage and I'm all-in. Vayne and Garen dealing true damage based on max HP have no counter except for shields/CC/their own death which is champion related most of the time.
Sett, olaf, garen, and vayne suck.
They would turn into magic damage but can't buff the damage too high they will end up way worse vs tankier Champs.

I feel like if a champion is shit if you remove true damage, then its just a shit champion (excluding executes)
If a champion with true damage isn't shit when you remove true damage then they're either op or barely do any true damage to begin with.
Champs without true damage are better, champs with true damage are worse. Hope that helps.
