But that's 4 meats. You'd only get one for that price on Michigan Ave.
go home, boomer. I charge $400 now
Where you at… I got $10 and I’m trying to get one of those rice bowls… I’ll fuck you for $40 bucks. 💀
I've seen a hooker on Michigan Ave before. Nope. Nope. Nope.
Nah just get 2 doubles for 44.
Haha!
The world is falling apart
Should probably mention this is a specialty shop, not the standard beer, hot dog, burger, popcorn, etc stands
A very important distinction that OP should have included, but where's the fun in that?
From personal experience- $4.50 for a Bottle of water and $9 for a hot dog - out of reach for the average family
Ya I wanna see that one
Could one infer from the image that this is not a hot dog stand due to the complete lack of hot dogs on the menu?

The funny part is, if you go to the lugnuts regular concessions stand, and not this specialty one, the prices are much more reasonable than this. OP just wants to complain.
not really....the hot dog prices are ridiculous. The hot dog they give you is so tiny - the last one I had there was in a dry ass stale bun too.
It's still stadium food, yes. But it's not obscenely priced like going to a Tiger's game.
I can get five beers for $25 at the Lugnuts. I once paid $25 for one Bloody Mary at a Tigers game (unknowingly). It’s no contest.
Other than Mercedes-Benz Stadium where the Atlanta Falcons play. Their prices are very reasonable.
This is the speciality BBQ stand from Gravity in Holt.
Yeah I’d BA-W-L-K at $18 for 8pc wings 💀
Is that buddies pizza (I think it was) joint still there. Last time I went they were charging $10 for on tiny ass square of cold crusty pizza. What makes it even more frustrating is that the would have it in the box already so you couldn’t see what you were actually getting until you paid.
For those prices I’d rather drive down to Detroit for a Tiger’s game.
Yes buddies is still there
No they aren't. There is still a pizza stand but it's not branded as Buddy's anymore. The new ownership made some changes to the concessions. I'm not saying the food has improved any but it has changed a little bit
It is literally not.
It’s their own in-stadium pizza now. Not Buddy’s.
Do they still charge an insane amount of money for a slice of pizza?
It’s free now.
Unrelated question, If I wanted to get a refund for gift certificate that was never used to your studio would I just walk in and get it?
Although the website says that those sales are final, go ahead and forward me your confirmation email anyway.
Appreciate it.
$9 for a slice of cheese pizza
That’s just wild to me.
That’s just wild to me.
Believe it or not Lugnuts tickets prices are also more expensive then Tigers tickets
You can get through the gate at Jackson Field for $11. How can I get a ticket to see the Detroit Tigers for less? Of there some secret sauce I’m missing, please share! As a family of four, last year’s trip to Comerica was fun, but not something I’m comfortable paying for regularly.
Idk what the fuck they're talking about about. Lugnuts games are cheap AF.
Yeah, I figured they were talking out their ass and popped on the MLB/Tigers home schedule to see. Before fees, it looks like a nosebleed is $22 before fees to see a game at Comerica. $22 is the most expensive seat at a Lugnuts game and Jackson Field’s concession prices have gone up (as has everything everywhere), but I consider their prices more than reasonable for traditional items and my kids absolutely love the experience our Lugnuts offer.
Paid $30 for 2 meals at Taco Bell today 😒
Your fault
I had a meal for 5 dollars and change at Taco Bell today. It wasn't great but it did the trick
Did the trick by giving you instant diarrhea?
You can buy brisket and rice bowls at the ballpark? That’s dope. What does a hotdog cost?
I think $4 but don’t quote me. We went Friday and paid $13 for a ticket, that also came with a dog, chips and a 16 oz soft drink. Beer was $8.
It’s not horrible for ball park prices but definitely higher than last year.
Thank you for sharing this info my friend 🤘
That seems pretty high for it being minor league baseball.
The next step down is to bring a hot dog, chips, and a Faygo to a public park hosting little league games.
$13/head for an afternoon out of the house seems doable.
The admission is fine, I was referring to $4 for a hotdog and $8 for a beer being pretty high.
Hit Thirsty Thursday for $3 beer then.
You can get kids meal , hot dog small drink and soggy ass fries for $10 or $8 I can’t remember I went last month
I was there last week. It was $9 for the kids meal. $4 for a dog. $5 for a brat.
Cool! Good deal for the kids meal
Huh, thought you were a dogecoin millionaire. Shouldn't be too hard for you to swing.
Don’t go to the ballpark to have dinner.
At most get a hot dog and some peanuts.
The real question is what are the beer prices theee days?
You can get five beers for $25 with a beverage band.
Just go ahead and take out a second mortgage.
So get a rice bowl with 2 meats and another rice bowl with the other 2 meats, toss the rice from 1 if desired, and save $6.
Big brain pricing.
What’s the fourth meat?!
It’s like the West Wing episode where they talk about the nine-meat soup:
“Beef, chicken, pork …”
“You don’t want to go there.”
You could buy two doubles for $44 instead of buying 4 meat for $50. Even a double + single chicken is $2 less than a triple. This pricing makes no sense.
Those are Hawaii prices!!
Nothing beats over priced cold food
Last time I went I had to take out a pay day loan to get fucked up
I don't find this that offensive. Perhaps because I got over the absolute shock when I experienced robbery firsthand at LCA for a red wings game. I've just accepted that venues overcharging for food & beverage is the norm.
Who da hell wants to watch baseball and eat rice?!?

Common folks eat this at ballgames? We sing about peanuts and crackerjacks during the 7th inning stretch, but I don’t remember the verse about brisket sandwiches and delux rice bowls 🤣
They have Cravings Popcorn
So two doubles are cheaper than the home run and 4 dollars more than the triple. Who made this menu.
I’ve had the Full Count sandwich a few times, it was really good! And honestly not that much more than having dinner at a restaurant outside of the stadium.
Fancy seats pricing
Not bad at all!
It’s bad, it’s just not uncommon anymore.
/s, I hope?
No, why?
Wdym why lmfao
I was so sad when they announced the Lugnuts were the feeder team for the Oakland A's. Seems like when we were under the Blue Jay's, the quality of concessions was better, but I could be wrong. Just stick to hot dogs and don't do like I did and get a brisket sandwich from the stadium concessions. $17 for a scoop of dried diced brisket on a stale bun. I could've bought someone a seat up close for that price lol
I don't think the feeder team has really any impact on the food at the ballpark
From what I've read googling the topic the MLB team controls everything on the field (players, coaches, etc.) Everything else is owned by the Minor League team (tickets, concessions, promotions). The team was just sold to Diamond Baseball Holdings last year, so that could be part of it.
This is correct.
Who the fuck are the Oakland A's?
Orrrr...... Eat beforehand?!?!
Reasons to not go to a ball game
Haven’t been back since the championship-winning soccer team was there.
That's not the basic hotdog & beer stand. That's one of the speciality restaurants.
There's a reason Buddies isnt in Lansing anymore (even the restaurant on the west side closed). People aren't going to pay $35-$40 for sub-par pizza.
So here is some background to ball park pricing and why it's higher than standard restaurant pricing. An outside vendor/restaurant pays rent plus 20 to 30% of sales to the ball park or food service managing company. That is just on the food. The management company also keeps 90 to 95% of all drink sales. On top of that the vendor/restaurant have extra labor above and beyond the cost of making the food in a restaurant. Items such as the 4 meats listed being higher than purchasing two, two itmes is because that meal is served in a large souvenir helmet that on its own it the gift shop is $10. In the end the vendor/restaurant makes less than they would selling in their restaurant but they take on that obligation as a form of advertising and drawing customers to the restaurant. The vendor/restaurant will offer discounts for game attendees that come back to the restaurant to become regular customers. As with everything the cost has gone up and in cases like this where multiple hands are in the cookie jar it multiplies quickly.
Haven’t been back since the championship-winning soccer team was there.
I'd have to see the size of it to judge. If it's literally 4 of the normal ones for $50, that's not bad.
$50 rice bowl? When I was young you could get fucked on Michigan Ave for $40!
