I mean, if it failed I think I’d be posting a much different photo. I’ve got other things to say about it though.
My relationship with case longhouse is complicated 😂
If I had received it centered and edged not rolled I’d look over the poorly fitted scales :/
Having said that, I can’t put it down. Something about the overall shape, size, blade shape… I don’t know. I’m not into liner locks but I like this one. I’m a big fan of front flippers in general so that helps, really well done on this one.
Anyways, cpm20cv is one of my favorite steels, just sucks that I have to work the rolled edge now. Overall this is one of those knives that is traditional bleeding over into modern and ironically it feels like the kind of knife you think about that’s a generic pocket knife… and I actually really like that.
🫣Seems like this is a typical case of a Case knife then😅
Yep. My first and last case knife to be honest. If their qc was good the longhouse would be superb value.
I think we have the same type. Drop/clip point all the way
Bonus: clip point that is geometrically basically drop point 😂
I mean, that’s most “clip points” these days lol
That case longhouse is the most drop pointy clip point I’ve got. It’s either straight up Bowie or drop point with a clip these days
Most Ka-Bars these days are “clip points” that are geometrically actually drop points. You see very few true clip points these days lol
Nice 110
It was my dads :)
The bottom one is nice! What is it?
serge panchenko production slip5, absolutely love the blade and just how simple the knife is in general.
What's the knife to the left of the shark club?
Jack Wolf gunslinger, it’s my nicest knife and it’s got a wicked hollow grind in addition to that aggressive clip.
5th from the left, is that a Kunwu Django? How do you like it?
I generally don’t go for clip point/bowie shaped blades, but something about it speaks to me.
I’m really tempted to get a reverse-tux version with the diamond-pattern titanium and get the scales cerakoted black. I’ve never been one for carbon fiber.
Yep, that’s the Django, when it was up for preorder they only had carbon fiber and dlc coated blade but after emailing kunwu they made this version for me, super good customer service. I love this thing, it’s a great outdoor user and the typical things said about kunwu knives apply: premium everything. The stonewashed elmax blade is super slicey, so if you prefer beefier stocks I’d skip this one. It’s one of my favorite knives.
does the lock on the case fail? I've seen it happen on reviews
