Ideas for some Indiana Jones in-between movies

So I’ve already watched all of the Indiana Jones movie, including the Dial of Destiny (good movie, rate it as a B+) and realized that the WWII opening shows a lot of potential for other in-between Indiana Jones movies.

Why? Various notorious Nazi villains s have somewhat of a spotlight in other movies that could be as a buildup.

Here’s my ideas for “future” Indiana Jones movies:

Have some in between movies that go in-depth about Indy’s WWII missions since it’s referenced in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Perhaps have Liam Neeson play Indiana Jones?
Nazi villains that are featured in movies like the Last Crusade and Dial of Destiny should have a role building up to the main movies.
Other characters like Mutt should have its own movie that’s an in between - Mutt served in Vietnam, so maybe do a Vietnam war movie featuring him as a main character.

Open to any other ideas that work, but that’s my two cents..

Short Round tracking down the diamond from Temple of Doom. According to "The Lost Journal of Indiana Jones" (which is supposedly canon), Shorty tracks it down to Hawaii on the island of Niihau in 1957. Boom, Disney+ limited series. It could work, given Ke Huy Quan's relative age.

Unpopular opinion here, perhaps, but I much prefer it when things are implied rather than overexplained. Leaving things up for our imagination is more interesting in my opinion. However, I do think I would be interested in something with Short Round, he's pretty much the one character I can see something like this work with. It's probably because he's just a kid the one time we've seen him, so there's not a lot to be implied, and there's plenty of potential for new, interesting stories.

Mutt Jones and the Beat of the Drum: Mutt Jones, son of legendary archeologist and professor Indiana Jones, fights in the Vietnam War. He is disgusted by the desecration of historic objects during the war. After an air raid in the jungle uncovers the Ngoc Lu drum, Mutt strives to see it safe in a museum somewhere, anywhere. He faces opposition on two fronts: the Vietnamese citizens defending their homeland and his fellow Americans who think he defected.

Short Round and the Book of Fate: still a bit spotty on the plot, but something to the effect of Short Round uncovers an original manuscript of the Old Testament, then something something something he gets involved in the Yom Kippur War and something something something someplace threatened with biblical destruction ala Sodom and Gomorrah. Maybe bring back the OG ark of the covenant to preserve the original Bible manuscripts.

No offence, but would you really want to see a Mutt Williams solo movie? Why not just a standalone movie about someone enlisting to fight in the Vietnam War? Seems a little unnecessary and in bad taste to tie it into Indiana Jones of all things

Nothing wrong with that, or maybe a tv show featuring Mutt Williams and his days leading up to Vietnam and during the Vietnam war.
