Does anyone know if it’s possible for a person who has DID to be aware of their alters and the actions of the their alters? I don’t think that’s how DID works but just wanted to see if anyone could clear that up for me!
It’s been a while but, if you’re still curious, yes. But it takes extensive therapy. There is also something called total alter fusion. However dissociative identity disorder primarily has dissociative factors thus it’s incredibly difficult to remove dissociative gaps. And might be reduced to OSDD, if I’m correct
