How to dispose of yard waste in Saugerties area?

Looking at Saugerties transfer station website they say the following - Steele Place Yard Waste Village residents may bring yard waste (leaves/brush) to the Steele Place drop-off area for disposal any week of the year on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.

Dispose of tree branches & bush clippings on North Street in the Village -just north of Sawyer Motors. They accept recycling & regular trash there as well.

If it's just lawn clippings, you don't need to bag those. Just mow every 7-10 days to keep the clippings short, leave them where they lay, and they will degrade and feed your lawn. The Steele Place site is great for other yard waste, e.g. non-compostable detritus from garden clean up, large branches (if you don't want to make a brush pile for wildlife), etc.
