Haven't switch to Summer Operations yet . . . Switch out with Gosling's Dark Rum riding shot gun w/ some Bombay . . .
You really shouldn't store whiskey on its side or upside down. At least not for a prolonged time. It can kill the cork and ruin the bottle. Wine is a different story. It's actually designed to be stored on its side, and with the lower abv, there's no issue with the cork.
Of course, if you drink it fast enough, it shouldn't matter. 😉
Cheers! 🥃
Oh . . . I know. This is strictly for protection. This is my Winter Set Up for Old Fashions. Must like an M-203 or M-19, you can load up with a libation that fits the mission profile . . . I had my heart broken one too many times by a broken bottle . ..
A true man of class.
Hell yeah!!!!!! One thing missing is Macallen
Oh and a 3cigar tube
Maybe under the cherries??
Damn. Nailed it. I didn’t get one because I don’t have a use for it. Now I think I have a use for it
Maker’s. Yeah booooi!
This French stave finished 46 expression?? Oh my. Found it at Winn Dixie Liquors for $27!!
Try the cask strength 46. 😋
YW
Finally these cases make sense. I thought people were keeping their guns in here, but guns aren’t that fragile so why bother
We all have different thoughts on what actually is actually "Precious Cargo."
This is the way.
The Compleat Gentleman’s Classic Attaché
Brilliant. I was wondering what to do with mine.
Fun fact about Old Forester and how it became established as a fine brand of Bourbon.
Simply because they started using glass bottles, which at the time were hand blow and expensive, they then marked their product to account for the expense. So it was more pricey. Pricey convinced the consumer that it was a finer product.
It was not better Bourbon, it was not a craft Bourbon, it was not the first, wasn’t the one made with the best ingredients or most controlled purpose, it wasn’t small batch or single barrel.
It was just bourbon, could have even been blended and stuck in a glass bottle.
But they make a damn good rye . . .
Indeed. Today it is a very good libation, it’s not my preference but it is respected.
For taste I prefer Woodford Reserve, then Makers, then Evan Williams Bottled in Bond
Cool little case you have there! Nice work
Haven't been into the Woodwards much yet. EW BIB, WT 101, GD 114 all have a place at the table . . . If I spent north of $40 on a bottle . . . It better be good . . .
Amazing.
