How many of you actually buy designer bags but don’t care for clothes or shoes?

A purse ALWAYS fits.

All my bags are designer and probably all my shoes. My clothing, though, is anything from Target/kmart to Australian local designers. My only international designers' clothing items are jackets and coats, as I feel you get the best wear out of those.

Aritzia is still so expensive to me I don't see that as at odds even if you're choosing their casual clothes 😂

For me it's generally easy to find a designer brand that has relatively consistent quality of products when it comes to bags and even jewelry, but that gets completely thrown aside with clothes. Clothes you really have to be picky, no matter the brand nowadays, all of them have junk in their selection. 

Shoes is just a pain in the ass to shop for because you want them to be comfy and finding the right size is a nightmare. Especially when it comes to heels. So I just buy whatever I can actually put on in a store.

I don't buy high end designer clothing (like Gucci, Chanel, whatever) but I do try to buy higher quality brands and buy nicer and longer lasting things so I don't contribute to fast fashion. And I generally dress quite casually and let my handbags and/or jewelry elevate my look a little more

Me! I'm also a plus sized woman who didn't always have the best clothing options so I wear what I can fit in and use my accessories (bag) to spruce up a look

I work with kids with autism and intellectual disabilities, so my work "uniform" is a t-shirt, comfy pants, and tennis shoes. At least my bag is cute entering and exiting the building. 😂

I mean everyone is different, but my bags go with my overall style. So I generally dress nicer, like nice dresses, shoes, jewellery. I just like looking elegant and for work professional. I have one backpack from years ago but I don’t really have or wear sporty clothes (just for the gym) not even in my house. Also I’m in Europe so that could be the difference

I care about shoes because feet be important yo and Dior and Jimmy Choo actually make comfortable heels that don’t feel plastic-y and leave me with blisters. And Tory Burch is the god of sandals as far as I’m concerned.

Clothes? Clothes can fuck right off. I am not spending 3k on some pants with their logo embedded all over them or a dress that I am worried about how to wash correctly. Would I love a Chanel tweed set? Yes!!! Would I know how to wash it and take care of it after each wear? No!!!

My nicest everyday clothes are mid-tier designer brands at best (Kate Spade, Alice + Olivia, J. Crew, Reformation, L’agence, etc…) and they are only bought on sale and even discounted further on sale. And then my other every day clothes are things like For Love and Lemons, Free People, Frankie’s Bikinis, Altar’d State, Blackmilk, etc… like I don’t wear SHEIN quality but by no means would I call them luxury fashion.

I would love to own some luxury dresses but I encounter the problem of when would I wear them because they are too nice for a casual look. Like I own a Balmain dress but I have yet to wear it since purchase because it’s not really appropriate in any occasion but a fancy date and I’m a single bitch.

I don't wear cheap, poorly made shoes because my feet are blister-prone and I have back problems, but neither do I splurge on them. I admittedly am very thrifty when it comes to clothes, and hardly buy new clothes unless they are on a huge discount. Bags are my only splurge.

Me! I’ll buy a Chanel purse and then go to Walmart and buy 20 shirts for 150 bucks and that makes me feel so happy.

My grandmother always advised choosing quality accessories over clothing as the accessories have a longer lifespan. As an adult I've held to this method and find myself pretty happy with it. Styles change rapidly and my weight fluctuates, but the bags and jewelry always fit

I invest more money in handbags than my clothing, absolutely.

I find investing in bags and a few wardrobe staples works best for my budget. That said, I do have a few higher end clothing items, like Burberry trenches and jackets, but I see handbags as items that will last a lot longer than clothes or shoes. I can outgrow clothes or shoes, rip them, scuff them, forget them in a hotel, wear a hole in them, they can go out to style, etc etc. Sure, handbags can get scuffed and ripped, etc, but most of the ones I buy are made from materials more durable than fabric.

Besides, just because something isn't name brand doesn't mean it's not in style! Not too long ago, I wore a Burberry jacket with a Burberry bag and a WalMart skirt. If it works, it works! lol

I've bought designer clothes and it's really not worth considering unless it's like 30-40% off retail during seasonal sales. It also depends on what type of clothing. Brands charging $600+ for a t-shirt that costs $15 to make is insane. Most I've splurged are on some designer denim and they are really nice and durable and I wear them all the time for work so the cost per wear is low. If it's something you think you'll wear all the time, like a jacket or coat, I'd say it's worth it. But I will say you can't rely on just a brand's name anymore. All these luxury houses churn out clothes and shoes like crazy in order to scale to a global market and quality is always a hit or miss.

90% of my handbags are luxury designer (Chanel, LV, Dior, Hermes, etc.) but I don’t buy designer clothes lol. My wardrobe is mainly Aritzia too but I also buy from Uniqlo, H&M, Mango, Madewell, etc.

I’ve been super disappointed in designer shoes (specifically Louboutin and Jimmy Choo). Unless you only walk on carpet all day, the red bottoms get scratched up immediately. I spent $750 on Jimmy Choos for my wedding and they looked so beat up after one night of wear.

I will go back in time and take all the money I spent on shoes and buy a Chanel bag instead. Except for my YSL tribute sandals, they held up well and are comfortable.

I don't own luxury bags, unless you count my two Mulberry bags: most of my bags are from brands like Coach, Polene and Strathberry. But even though I own Coach and Tory Burch bags, I don't own any shoes from these brands. Some of my shoes are from low-end designers like Cole Haan. But I haven't paid anywhere near as much for shoes as I have for bags: every pair I own I've paid well under $100 for on sale (the majority were less than $50). Because shoes touch the floor and really can't be kept pristine, it's hard for me to justify paying $600 or $1,000 for a pair of luxury designer shoes.

As for clothing, I have a few Betsey Johnson, Michael Michael Kors and DKNY dresses, as well as Ralph Lauren sweaters, but definitely nothing luxury like Gucci.

I refuse to wear uncomfortable shoes so most of my footwear isn’t designer. Sadly, my love of sneakers doesn’t match well with my love of handbags. Summer means Chacos, Birkenstocks, and flip flops. Colder seasons are Nike Dunks, Doc Martens, etc.

I work from home and have a younger kid so my wardrobe is very casual unless I have an excuse to dress up. My wardrobe skews heavily Costco but I’ll shop big sales at Athleta, Anthropologie, Madewell, etc.

I buy quite a bit of secondhand designer items on eBay etc 

I also love clothes and shoes but no, my clothes and shoes are not from Chanel or Louis Vuitton like my bags are. But I make it a point to buy high-quality clothes and shoes and take excellent care of them, just as I do my bags. Most of my clothes are from consignment stores or sustainably-minded brands like Reformation, Everlane, or Patagonia. While still more expensive than Target and SHEIN, the cost of a Reformation dress doesn't come close to the cost of a Chanel dress. I'm okay spending $$$ on bags, because I know if I take care of them, they'll last forever. Even though I take excellent care of my clothes, a silk dress just isn't as durable as a leather bag. And shoes touch the ground - I can't stomach spending $1000 on a designer pair because even with the best care they won't last forever. I recently had to throw away a Reformation dress I bought in 2016 because after 8 years of frequent wear, it developed a hole that I couldn't repair. I would have to be a demon to wear my vintage Chanel bag so hard it develops a hole. And the best part about investing in bags is you can wear them daily across multiple seasons, which gives you a low cost-per-wear. I'd look crazy wearing the same designer RTW outfit every single day.

Me! I wonder if people who see me assume my bags are fake because my clothes absolutely do not measure up. But I don’t really care, people can think what they want.

I generally dress pretty… nice. Not high end designer everything. But curated, intentional, nice. I work at a creative tech job where this is my normal aesthetic for day to day life.

I feel ultra weird bringing my high end bags out with a Pilates outfit. Like I will sooner just take a wallet because the mismatch of high and low feels so dissonant. That said I support people using their nice things in their real lives, whatever that looks like for them. Otherwise why own them?

My motto- As long as you have a designer bag and nice shoes you can literally wear sweats and look great.

Reminds me of a reel I saw on Instagram that basically says me with my LV purse, Gucci shoes and Rimowa luggage full of Shein clothes. No judgement at all cause I’m guilty of the same things (but no Rimowa luggage for me haha)

I find clothing has gone to shite regardless of label. 15 or 20 years ago some higher end brands were surefire quality pieces you would wear for years. I remember buying 5 black cotton tops from H and M for work, one for each day to go under a suit jacket, and they lasted me for many years. Now even a designer brand can look crap after a few wears so I will not spend the money.

I don't have a huge thing for designer shoes. I have loved Carel shoes the past year or so, good quality and simple designs that work for my lifestyle. For the price they're worth it for me.

My clothing is all midrange dresses and long tops/leggings.

I have gotten the most value from my bags. I have LV bags for almost 20 years that are still looking almost new and I wear all the time. I couldn't say the same for any designer shoes I've bought.

I used to not care as much about clothes or shoes. To me, purses can be used for more than one outfit while I feel clothes have maybe a few looks at most. I also wasn’t super knowledgeable on fashion (as in, more coordination/fit/etc). This spring I went and got a color and body line analysis. Now that I have slightly more confidence when I go shopping, I’m a little more discerning when I buy clothes and have looked at higher quality items. Nothing terribly fancy, but I’ve found that clothes from Banana Republic fit my body well. I try to buy clothes that are more versatile and better construction. But purses are my splurge because I know they can stand the test of time. I have purses that are older than I am and with care will grow old(er) with me.

Yes, my European grandmother has always said to me “reasonably priced, well fitted clothes & designer accessories”. I love nice belts and bags so that’s where my splurging goes. I do like nice clothes as well but would never spend on luxury names.

When I was younger I would invest in a handbag because it always elevates an outfit.

I will literally wear a Zimmermann outfit and Jimmy Choo sandals with a straw Coach bag I picked up from their online outlet.

My shoe collection is much larger than my handbags and part of the reason for that is I feel like when I go out or walk around by myself, no one is going to steal my shoes but my bag may get snatched or draw negative attention.

I’ve gotten into designer clothing and I justify it because the quality is so much better. Also, I can tuck my bag under my chair but my outfit is always visible and what makes a good impression.

Basically, I’m a brat and I want everything fashion.

That’s totally me! My bags range from $50 - $11,000 (Lindy). However, clothing wise I’m pretty lazy and only buy from limited brands. Namely, Anthropologie, Aritzia, and Lululemon. For shoes, I prioritize comfort above all. Fancy shoes are Rothy’s flats for me 😜

i only use designer bags but don’t buy designer clothes (mainly can’t afford). started to make my own clothes a few years back and been trying to make them not looking cheap.

The way I see it is a nice handbag will never make me feel fat lol

Designers do not know how to make good shoes. You know who makes good shoes? New Balance, hoka, dr scholls, easy spirit, dr martens.... you know, shoe companies!

I don’t buy the high end designer clothes but I will invest in staple pieces (normally dresses, jackets, skirts, boots) and then buy seasonal high quality items from specific brands. I like to be comfortable and I’ve found some of the high end designer shoes are not comfortable for my feet. Most of my current wardrobe that I wear daily is Sezane, lululemon, Abercrombie, Walter baker, and then random brands I’ve found at TJ Maxx or Marshall’s for fast fashion purposes.

Me. I don’t buy clothes because I’m plus sized so selection is pretty limited or doesn’t even exist in my size. The only designer shoes I buy is Tory Burch. Bags I buy Gucci, Celine, LV, Fendi, Tory Burch, Coach, Chanel, etc.

I won't buy luxury shoes. I live in NYC and beat my shoes into the ground so it's just not worth it. For clothes, it's a bit different. I've focused on just stocking my closet with basics, which honestly ranges from Amazon to J Crew. But I also have a Rent the Runway subscription so I do wear a lot of higher end brands. I work in luxury so I like having nicer items when I'm in the office or for events, but I have no shame in wearing cheap items 🤷‍♀️

I do. I’m plus size. Clothes don’t always come in my size, shoes may not be comfortable. But a purse will always fits.

I’m not this person, but I know it’s a thing from being on this forum. A lot of people that don’t give a lick about anything else but bags.. and that’s just fine. I wish I only liked bags… fashion is an expensive habit

This is me! Designer bags and jewelry all day, but if I have to spend more than $50 on shoes or clothes I'm not having it....well, I have started getting into shoes, but the expensive ones are just so uncomfortable I wear them for one occasion and let them collect dust in my closet

Clothes need to be washable and dryable and that’s it; so nothing special as they wear out after a couple of years due to that cycle. I do care about shoes but it’s always trainers in a quality supportive brand or Toms ripoffs when I need something less sporty

Definitely me, I’ll wear my Old Navy shorts and Amazon shirts with Vans and a designer bag.

Bags were my gateway drug into shoes which was my gateway drug into clothes.

Me! I have a pair of Louboutins and some mid-level designer shoes (a few pairs of Tory Burch sandals and the like) and I usually buy nice sneakers, but then the rest of my shoes are just cute styles I spot at Marshall’s or DSW or whatever.

For clothes I have some thrifted designer pieces, but overall my wardrobe is from a mix of definitely not designer lol. I have a lot from Banana Republic, GAP, and the like, I love bargain hunting at TJ Maxx, and then I get a ton of athleisure from Lululemon and Fabletics.

I will spend stupid amounts on a bag but then buy clothes at Costco, not shoes though, those cost as much as my bags.

Designer clothes are out of reach financially for most people, but bags aren’t, so more people are always going to buy designer bags but not clothes. People can justify a few multi thousand dollar purses, but not one $5,000 top.

I think u have to be another level of rich to be buying designer clothing as well. Though most people I know with designer bags will buy designer shoes and jewelry. The ones that have multiple Chanel’s and Hermes does wear designer clothing at that point.

Clothes are from old navy. Bags are Louis. It makes no sense other than I got really sick of paying $40 for PU bags from Zara or H+M in my 20s and wanted something that lasts I’ve tried designer clothes but with a kid i can’t afford to have them destroyed. I’m in my casual mom era. And I look at designer bags as a buy it for life situation. They are hard wearing and last decades, some I’ve had for two decades.

Same. Luxe bag and Target t-shirt with thrifted jeans is my go-to. Good news is that when you hit a certain stage you no longer give a flying ….

Me!! I don’t see the point. Most of the fabrics used is not worth the price and the designs are very trendy and unwearable and dated after that season.

I love designer bags but will never buy clothes from Chanel or Dior lol. I still buy clothes from H&M, mango, etc.

I am like you except less fancy, I don’t even shop at places like Aritzia, that’s fancy / expensive to me.

I thrift a lot of my clothing, any designer clothing I own (barely anything, maybe 1 or 2 pieces) was thrifted and very inexpensive. Other than that, I’m shopping at H&M, sometimes Muji and Zara, those are what’s close by so if I don’t have the time to thrift or can’t find what I’m looking for, I’ll generally wander in that direction. I’ll also pop into Uniqlo if I’m close to one, their stuff tends to fit me well. I’m not a huge fan of online shopping, so minus some secondhand sites, I try to avoid it.

The only things I’m really willing to drop money on are bags, shoes, jewelry, bras (because I have to) and outerwear. I’ve found that my inexpensive clothing lasts just as long as expensive things I’ve bought in the past, so for me it’s not worth it to spend tons of money on clothing. Im also a pretty boring dresser, I only wear a few different colors and tend to dress pretty modest, so I’d rather spend money on fun, interesting, and different accessories like bags than clothing.

I have no problems splurging on bags or jewelry and have designated yearly budgets for both. Clothes though… I’m permanent work from home now so whatever floats my boat and looks nice and casual. Shoes, I go for comfort - I dont care if they’re $1k or $10 - if they feel like heaven, I’m getting them.

I prioritize bags and jewelry. I have a couple of designer shoes. Clothing though personally I just know how to style my outfits but they’re Zara, reformation, A&F, Aritzia, Mango, and so on. As long as they’re good quality. The older I get the more I want to downsize my closet and have pieces that are timeless and last for a while.

If I didn’t tell you where I purchased my clothing, you’d think they were expensive because of my fancy jewelry, bags, and nice shoes. But nope, just styling.

My outfit today: vintage band tee, gap jeans, Birkenstock sandals, LV speedy (dove imprente). My outfit 90% of the time, target too, lululemon joggers, sneakers (Nike mostly), and a designer bag.

Me! I'm a bargain shopper for clothes but spare no expense (within my budget) on my bags.

I'm 100000% all about the bags as pieces of art I get to carry with me. I will wear a designer bag with yoga pants and a tee-shirt with a joke on it. Flip flops and jeans. Don't care. I don't think I have one clothing item worth more than $80. But my pocketbooks are my life.

But then again...I love how my gorgeous bags do give me the little nudge to put on some mascara or earrings.

I spend on bags and shoes because they don’t betray me. Some days I can be in 4 different sizes of clothes (gotta love hormones and acid reflux!). I will wear thousands of dollars worth of bags and shoes with my $20 outfit.

I’m the same. Most of my clothes are Madewell, J. Crew & Gap. For shoes, I mostly wear Hoka, Rothy’s & Birkenstocks lol. However, for my bags, most are high end.

I can baby a handbag, but I absolutely do NOT trust myself to keep expensive shoes in pristine condition. There are too many ways to ruin a pair of designer shoes, so I'll keep buying my $30 heels from DSW or Target 😂

I have expensive bags and dress like a bag lady. Clothes don’t matter to me but I love looking at a nice handbag. They’re like art and I invest.

I'm more willing to spend money on bags and fine jewelry than clothes and shoes. In my mind, bags and fine jewelry last longer and can elevate even the simplest of outfits. They're also easier to maintain such that I can pass them on to the next generation in good condition (much like how I got some from my mom and grandma).

My Hub is a sneaker head and couldn’t care less about designer wallets or belts. I am a bag addict and will wear a $9 pair of mules and $20 outfit with my LV’s. I get all my clothes and shoes mainly from Shein and I do not pay over $15 for a single item - but selecting my bags is a much more rigorous process at a much higher price point!

My belief is that if I have a great bag, which isn't too dressy (shiny), no matter how I'm dressed, the opinion of others will be that I'm normally pulled together, and this is just a low-key, feel comfortable day. The designer bag "says" I have style, even if I'm not dressed up at that moment. (I'm never dressed up, btw)

Yes, I am with you!! I wear clothes from Old Navy and Target because it’s the easiest places to shop online and return in store if I don’t like it. But I will go all in on bags and SLGs and I love watching YouTube videos about bags 😆

Shoes and clothes get worn down more quickly and I can gain weight easily so the longevity is short.

I have some designer staple items in my wardrobe in shoes, blazers, coats etc. only stuff that will last a long time and elevates an outfit. Mainly I have high end designer purses as they last longer and always elevates an outfit.

I find that having a few well made quality items really elevate the overall look of things. The expensive high end items I have are timeless pieces - the rest of my wardrobe is fad-fashion to fit my style.

Oh and jewelry - I have very expensive stuff and then I have stuff that looks expensive but is cheap.

Mixing and matching is what makes my style mine.

I've been burned so many times buying $$$ clothes that are worse than anything off of shein.

At this point I mostly buy clothes in person that I like and avoid online shopping. But what I buy in person could come from anywhere. Grocery store, mall, farmer's market.

It's bizarre how hard it is to find clothes that don't fall apart in the first wash at any price point. Like, $400 should buy a decent outfit, not something that had hanging threads everywhere and drops hems before leaving the store.

I wear my Hermes bags with my $30 Keds and a white t-shirt and boyfriend jeans. I don’t believe in needing to wear luxury head to toe.

I have size 12/13 feet and no patience for heels. And designer clothes don’t come in my size. I love designer handbags, a few designer accessories like scarves, and luxury makeup. But I rock them all with my converse 😉

I’ve switched from bags to jewellery. Jewellery doesn’t lose its value.

most of my clothes are vintage or designer via ebay/consignment shops, but also so are my bags. my wardrobe is pretty tightly curated so there's not much of a spectrum mismatch. super luxury brands aren't in my budget anyway (i will never be an hermes girly, for example), but i also really try to avoid buying new fast fashion items if i can help it. the environmental impact and recent nosedive in quality for brands across the entire price spectrum just aren't worth it imo.

Most the time I just wear what fits. I mainly live in pajamas, t shirts, leggings, and Crocs. I don’t care about fashion but for some reason I am addicted to bags and wallets. I look homeless but I’ll have a nice leather bag on my arm.

Omg this is me. But I may or may not own a ton of shoes. I’m an adidas shoe junkie. Otherwise I dress like a homeless person.

Mostly handbags, but I do have a couple of pairs of Gucci sneakers. No designer clothes—my size is out of their preferred range. That’s why I like handbags: they always fit.

I care about shoes and clothes, just not designer or expensive ones! Lol I think the majority of my closet is stuff from TJ Maxx/Marshall’s/Ross/target? I do have the occasional designer clothing/shoe purchase but my bags are definitely the $$$ of my outfit (minus jewelry).

I invest in bags and shoes and accessories (scarves, jewelry). I wear designer clothes but not RTW from the designers that I purchase accessories from - a step or two down, instead, like Veronica Beard, shoshanna, j McLaughlin, Ann mashburn, jenni kayne. I think it also depends on lifestyle - I work from an office in an industry that’s still business professional. If I was wfh there would probably be more aritzia and athleisure there.

I try to buy ethical clothing from transparent smaller brands (which tend to have similar price ranges to mid-range designers anyway) and often buy from slow fashion BST Facebook pages.

I buy designer bags and sunglasses. I have a few pairs of pool slides that are Gucci and Versace but otherwise I shop a lot at north face, lulu lemon, free people/anthropologie and Nordstrom. For shoes I like Dolce Vita and Steve Madden.

I'm plus sized, so designer clothes have never been on my radar. I love Universal Standard jeans, and other size-inclusive nicer brands. I buy nicer shoes, too. Mainly Birkenstocks and a couple pairs of Cole Haan shoes. No clothes or shoes that are nearly as expensive as my handbags and jewelry, though.

This is where my husband and I differ so much. I find it very difficult to spend more than $100 on a single clothing item, though I will drop money on a bag. Same with shoes, I’ve been eyeing certain designer brands, but the most expensive pair of shoes I’ve bought was $150 pair of Mark Fisher pumps that I got on sale for $90. Meanwhile, I thought nothing of dropping nearly $800 on the Strathberry East/West Soft a few weeks ago.

My husband has like 12 designer suits (all Tom Ford), which okay, he handles multi-million dollar business deals on a regular basis and so needs to look the part, but his casual wardrobe is like 80% designer (the other 20% is the stuff I buy him). He also likes designer shoes to go with those suits. Meanwhile, he can’t see dropping $800 on a purse.

I have plantar fasciitis from standing for long hours at work so cute designer shoes aren’t even a possibility for me anymore. As for clothes, I’ll have to admit that I’m not the most careful person with my clothing, and have had to throw out more than one designer dress or pair of pants. So I’ve scaled back on my wardrobe. Most of my clothes are very simple basics, maybe some funny t shirts, and hopefully my nice bag and some quality jewelry pieces help elevate my look.

I don’t have many bags, 2-3, but my clothes are super casual and not branded. I wear sneakers or casual shoes most days.

Uniform of high quality basics, good gold, good shoes, good bag. you could wear decrepit gray sweatpants with good accessories and be good to go. it doesn’t make financial sense to waste money on ready to wear or diffusion lines. leather will retain ✊🏽

I have never had to have a handbag altered (taken up or let out) so I focus my larger spends on items I don't need to have adjusted. Your style preference may change, but a purse will never make you regret a second serving of pie.

I love all kinds of bags, including designer. But I’ve been plus size my whole life, so the designer clothes have never been an option. Also—I prefer to dress more simply and let my accessories show my style. And shoes? I spent years on my feet in my profession, so they had to be supportive and comfy. And now my feet only tolerate certain shoes (e.g. Birkenstocks).

Yes! I spend money on purses, glasses (prescription and sun,) and jewelry. I live in the PNW, so it’s rainy and cold and my wardrobe consists of comfy clothes under jackets and Ugg boots.

Definitely me. I buy quality shoes but not labels. And a good amount of my clothes come from target. But I will wear them with Cartier and a luxury bag. Purses and jewelry can elevate any outfit

I used to love shoes till I had children and my feet went up a size and I had to get rid of my collection 😩 then I went into a Kate spade in London - drawn in by the Nicola crossbody in a gorgeous green and that was it. No longer carrying what my husband referred to as a bin bag on my arm (massive hobo style bags filled with kids snacks/clothes/toys etc) I fell in love with bags. That was 5 years ago and Kate spade was my fav for a long time until I saw Mulberry 🥰 and now have just added a Mlouye to my collection - clothes make me sad (low self esteem!!), shoes are now for comfort - bags make me happy!!!!!

I started collecting in the 90s (when you could get a Chanel classic flap for $2k lol) when I did dress well and go out a lot. I was a big Versace fan...but now I'm athletic/athleisure and comfy and I have no interest in fashion clothes (for me( anymore). Gimme my Lulu Aligns or Hotty Hot shorts and a tee/tank or a big comfy hoodie or a simple tank dress/summer dress and I'm happy. I still carry nice bags - they go great with my crocs flip flops 🤣🤣🤣

I have large feet (11.5 US women’s / 43 EU) so unfortunately the cheapest shoes I have that fit me are still at least $100. When I find a brand that fits me AND has cute shoes AND those shoes are comfortable, I go to town, haha.

Birkenstock, Memery UK & American Duchess (vintage repro shoes), Office of Angela Scott, Sarah Flint, and Rothy’s for dressier shoes; Nike and Brooks for athletic shoes.

Me! I have a big purse collection because I usually just wear all black so it’s fun to switch up. I have one LV and mostly Kate Spade and Coach plus a LOT of Disney bags (some of which are Kate spade and coach but also loungeflies)

I buy quality pieces but overall they are basics. I do not buy designer clothes, but will buy high quality jeans and linen and cotton pants and shirts. I like to let my bags and other accessories change up my outfits.

I only have one luxury designer bag, but I have a lot of coach. My shoes are brands, but not fashion houses. So stuff like birkenstock, steve madden, adidas, etc.

With clothes, it's mostly old navy, H&M, and occasionally Levi's for jeans. If I wear the luxury bag, I try and pair it with the nicer pieces of clothing and shoes, but my overall style is very casual.

I don’t wear high end designer clothing. But do have some higher end designer shoes. Most of my wardrobe though still is a couple levels above say JCrew. My casual/weekend wardrobe is a little less because I’m mostly going out with my kids and that makes the most sense. Often times my bag is the most expensive thing in my outfit, but seeing as how I can wear 1 bag with multiple things that makes sense. The cost per wear is probably about the same.
