I need advise. I'm on to smoke 10 tri tips but will be interrupted during the process

My son is graduating this weekend and I have to be there from 4:20 until 6:30. I have a large Treager that can handle the tri tips. We have to transport them to the house for the dinner/party. I wanted to do a reverse sear. I've done it before successfully by cooking them to 132 (takes about 2.5 to 3 hours) and moving them to the cast iron skillet with butter.

My question, if I smoke them while we are at the school then transport them over 30 minutes, then sear them, will they be alright?
